When he gets tangled up with a mafia boss's son's girlfriend and ends up in a scuffle, young Yothin needs to find a safe place. Instead of sending him overseas, his father decides to send him to the countryside! There, he stays in Bang Pho under the care of subdistrict headman, a close friend of his father. He's also under the watchful eye of the village headman who happens to be the subdistrict headman's grandson and is overseeing his probation. My Sweetheart Jom – A Countryside BL Masterpiece!
Idol Factory has done it again! My Sweetheart Jom is a slow-burn, heartwarming BL that completely stole my heart over these 12 weeks. What I Loved:
🌿 From city chaos to serene countryside – after the first episode, we spend the entire series surrounded by greenery, buffaloes, and the charm of village life. It’s so refreshing to watch!
🫶 Saint as Jom – total daddy vibes! Caring, calm, and protective of the whole village. Watching him look after everyone felt like a warm hug.
😈 Yo (Poom) – adorable, mischievous, and a total brat in the best way. His chemistry with Jom is magnetic.
🔥 The slow-burn romance – no kisses until episode 10, but the build-up was so worth it. From school moments to village adventures, the tension kept me hooked.
🎶 The OST – fun, vibrant, and perfectly matched the countryside vibe.
💘 The final 3 episodes – PERFECTION. Yo’s confident confession, the dreamy lotus pond kiss, the emotional NC scene after years apart, and that final buffalo moment… my heart exploded.
This show had everything: slice-of-life warmth, village drama, beautiful romance, and stunning attention to detail. Time truly flew by, and Thursdays will feel empty without it.
⭐ 9.5/10 – A beautiful, cozy, and unforgettable BL experience.
If you love slow-burn romance with heart and soul, this is a must-watch! 🌾💖🐃

that first NC scene
okay, so I will admit I was on the fence about this. it’s kinda a hard sell to go from guardian/father figure to romance. I questioned if they were going to be able to do it so I actually read the source material and I truly like the book a lothowever all of my friends that I would talk about this with I would say I don’t think this was the best series to adapt into an alive action because the romance really isn’t there not even in the book
however the Author has come out and said that they changed a lot and I am happy to report that they have
I’m actually truly enjoy enjoying this and I love seeing Saint back in a BL at first, I didn’t know if I was going to like him and poom together, but they have really grown on me
here’s the thing my sweetheart Jom isn’t out here to win awards and be the best series ever created. it is a fun romcom that is over the top ridiculous and just to feel good series
that being said, I didn’t think we were going to get any NC scenes… but color me surprised. and Saint, my guy, damn.
anyway, it’s a fun writer not to be taken very serious seriously. and I love it
I hope we get to see more of them as a CP
