@mjcsfla1 yes, it is the restaurant owner. I agree, I don't think she had any malicious intent, but, in my opinion, I don't think it was her place to do what she did. She really knows him only as his teacher, they haven't formed a relationship for her to intercede, again, in my opinion that way. I know she meant well, and she did it from a place of caring for him.

My girl rolled up on the qin, checked herself and said I'm going turn this mother out! Yes, she did! My girl was on point. Petals swirling all around her. Fingers bleeding and she still brought the house down. I had to watch that 4 times it was that good. Especially, when she transformed looking all fly in the air!
Did you see SYR? Yeah, his ass was sweating and crying. But you know our man XH was seeing all that and knows something is up now. You know he is going to figure it out. Love how he walked up and put his slate on the board. He said, "With my vote, I wish the qin player would get her revenge and a bright future." There you go. XH is there for our girl JL. The music teacher was killing me, he was chastising the other two who didn't vote for her, but when XH voted, he said finally someone with sense. Cracked me up. But you know that SYR had to vote for her for 1) Princess W voted for her to win 2) I believe he felt obligated for what he had done in the past to JL (seeing her looking like his supposed dead wife), hence the vote he cast.
Why am I thinking that XH was the one that found her in the mountains and didn't know her identity. I believe that he is putting some pieces together bit by bit and now that he saw the reaction of SYR this is putting him to see what his deal is.
Now, why did JL participate in pulling the rope when she knew she had a jacked-up wrist. They could have had a sub.

Doesn't she need the antidote. She has to regain her memory pretty soon. There are only 24 episodes. Lots of drama is going to be going down.
First of all, I am sorry, but I am still not sold on the FL in this drama. She does nothing for me. I feel like she is trying to look too young at some points, and then more mature in others. Again, just my opinion but the pairing to me isn't getting me.
Now, with regards to this whole thing about his mother. Excuse me, but there were years where the sister could have reached out to him or at least open lines of communication to start off. I just feel this could have all be averted if there would have been better communication especially since the sister was following him for so long. Then the mother when faced with the opportunity, runs away. Again, I know she was afraid, but with all the hours of standing and pleading, now was the time to talk to him. Geez!
He was right in the regards to telling KHD to basically step off. He really didn't know her per se for her to be up in all of his personal business. She should have approached it a different way than what she did. She was an outsider looking in and to comment and give her opinion on the situation was off putting and I can see why it was to him. They were forcing him to accept his mother when he was dealing with abandonment issues. I believe KHD knew this and since she was all up in their "kool-aid" she should have told this to his sister and again, communication people. Now, he is dealing with this heaven burden of his last words to his mother.

Girlfriend better forget about that wedding too. Keep that headband on and lay down because he isn't going to change his mind.
