Then to see that tear coming down when she held his face, then kissed him, come on, you know you all were smiling. I know I was. So, we are in our happy zone right now but not for long.
Can someone please slap PRJ? How did you like how she is leading Shen aka Mr. Whipped around? I mean that whole thing with writing the poem in the moonlight and her drawing the tree, come on. I can't with her. She is just leading him big time. But hold up now, in episode 38, do we see Mr. Whipped getting him some? I believe so. But again, I believe she is just giving him some payback for all that he has done for her and just to keep him still tied to her. Those two really do deserve each other.
And what was up with Zhijian going after PRJ and then we had our boy ZM get jacked up? I'm so upset with him because he knows that ZM would follow him and protect him because he is like family. He acted without thinking but we know he will be on the mend.
Mama Empress took a bite out of crime and let LD know that PRJ is the one doing all of the shady stuff. Thank heavens, on our team we have MZH aka Nancy Drew who helped LD know that is what she meant. Can we say we are feeling sad for Mama Empress? I mean the woman was just off the chain but dang, she is just going out without speaking and just existing at PRJ's whim. Again, can't stand that whispery voice of hers.
Chen needs to stop being such a loose cannon as the emperor and think about what is happening around him. LD is put into the dungeon we don't know why. Look at how she pulled in Shen (aka Mr. Whipped) to her side at an early age. I mean he fell in love with her then.
Oh, let us not forget that we put the eunuch on the guilt trip to kill himself so that PRJ didn't have to be caught that she did the change on the edict. I mean, you saw that coming a mile away when she was talking to him. Poor guy.
Then we have LD getting all of his stuff in order to check out of town not telling our girl MZH. You knew she was going to hunt him down. That's our girl. But here she goes to the bamboo forest, and LD just "happens" to play the flute like the Piped Piper giving her the signal to come this way. I mean that was a shot in the dark, ya think. But she went to get her man! Yes!
I still like ZM and GJL because they are too cute. When he brought her all those snacks because he was leaving, then she wanted to give him some too. He looked so sad. Like this couple.
Chen is on the throne, but we know that he still likes MZH. I mean him holding the money in his hand and then just saying he couldn't think about those things right now, makes me wonder if there is going to be a set up with those two which I think happens in episode 33. By none other than PRJ but I'm not sure if it is the other princess from North Liang. She had a sneaky smile when word got out that those two were together.
I do like the conversation that LD had with the other two princes. I mean he kept it real with both of them and even admitted his own shortcomings when it came to both of them. I hope after they go back, they really do help Chen out if he needs it. Keep that brotherly bond.
But get ready...starting with episode 34 we are on the Love Train of LD and MZH. Yes, LD and MZH are doin and doin it well. So, I guess they get accused of something when all the ministers are meeting and LD steps up like the real man he is and says, "I am her paramour (lover)." In front of everyone!!! Everyone is like, say what? I don't know how Chen reacts to that announcement. But they do FINALLY sleep together in episode 36. You know he has been waiting a minute for her. Right?
After all that happiness, we have to see PRJ with all these men living it up. Shen comes and see hers and says he will leave. Now, the look on his face is not good, not sure if he may be so ticked, he goes to the other side and pretends he still with her. I mean, this girl has to get a smackdown along the way. She has done so much, and she thinks she is so smart that somebody is going to get her. The folks in North Liang are not done, won't it be funny if she still ends up going there after everything is said and done. Take all her power away...she needs stopped!
