@Stevie70 what would have led Jin Woo to investigate Dr. Yoo's family and clinic? I think he may have been an illegitimate son. I believe that she took his heart as well. Dr. Joo is doing some sneaky stuff.

This is wild.

1. PKY to me is playing a chess game here. CYW's mother or his sponsor really did a number on him in some way. Why was she so adamant that she needs to get him before everyone else?
2. Was BMG also one of the kids that CYW's mother dealt with as well because look at the close relationship that she has with the father.
3. The whole situation with OJS's brother is the perplexing part here. How does he fit into this board? The doctor seems a bit shady too because the night all this went down on his death, I still don't understand why he wanted soup that very night. This was I believe a setup by all three somehow. What type of doctor is he by the way?
4. I still don't believe that OJS's brother was dead. I still think the CJW's mother had a hand in it. She is doing some sneaky, shady stuff.

This is a really good drama, keeps you guessing as to how these players fit altogether on this board.

I am loving this drama. But we need to slap Prince Xiu Ming. Again, interrupting their tribulation. I understand why, but he really needs to sashay away....

Ok, I have to say it again and give it up every time I hear the Royal Nirvana OST in these episodes, it makes me listen to it again. The OST is all that.

@Dashmount20 so does XY marry anyone, or does she wait to marry TJ? What is up with CX? Does he marry the chick that is Feng sister? Or is he going to always pine for XY. I still say he loves her big time. Where does XL fit into all of this? You do not know how annoyed I was when I saw that.

I mean come on. Could he not tell the medicine was drugged? Also, I still feel that he isn't strong within himself to be with her because he keeps saying that everyone else is better than him. So, subconsciously he had to know that the medicine was drugged, and he just went along with it. Thoughts?

I don't understand why TJ and XY just didn't get married after he was named Chief or had a double ceremony at that time. I am just so annoyed and frustrated. Then we have to wait how long until I can see the remaining episodes. You know what? This is too much.

Can somebody please tell me what is the deal with the SFL and her wanting the mansion so bad? I'm tired of hearing about this connection or whatever but really? Can she just die already which I hope she does. SML, I really have no words for him because he is just grating on me with saying he doesn't want to die young.

There is a new policy in place that has fans worried about when season 2 will be released and episode count.

Lost You Forever finished 6 months of shooting on September 25, 2022, has been split into seasons to accommodate for China regulatory board NRTA's move to cap every drama at 40 episodes.

While the best scenario would be for Lost You Forever Season 2 to air right after season 1 ends, rumors say that it won't be released until a few months later before the end of the year. However, a new policy from NRTA may just change that. New policy dictates that total number of hours per drama will be capped at 1,800 minutes which means 40-episode drama can have 45 minutes max. This has been done to combat Zhu Shui Ju which refers to dramas that endlessly drag on, sacrificing quality for the sake of filling the time. To deter needlessly long dramas adopting a seasonal format just to air one "long" drama, the new season cannot air until 12 months later.

Unfortunately, it makes it that much harder for dramas that really require that much airtime, such as historical dramas, which often need longer airtime. The 12 month wait for it to air will be painful not only for viewers but also an added risk for the show since what is popular now, might not have the same pull a year later. The new policy should only apply to new dramas being made and because it came out after Lost You Forever started airing, many are unsure what it would mean for the second season.

Lost You Forever Season 1 has 39 episodes. Season 2 is said to be under review so there is no official episode count, but rumors say that the 35 episodes planned for the drama may have been cut to 21. Given the very positive buzz around the show, just the thought of cutting down so many episodes for the sake of reducing airtime is enough to make any fan angry. However, some reason that 35 was just the initial number, that there's no drastic cutting down of episodes but rather a change in the split of episodes since season 1 was only supposed to be 29 episodes but decided to air 39 episodes in one go and the 21 episodes for season 2 would tell the rest of the story.
