There are a lot of flirting scenes and him just trying to court her which are nice. But when he took her to where the cherry blossoms were, definitely could see the fakeness there. I believe they will give it a happy ending; I am hoping. Honestly, if you have nothing else better to watch then ok. Not one of my first choices by far. But I as already so far in, thinking it would get better but not really.
Not what I expected at all. I thought it was going to be a good love story. The title "The Last Princess" doesn't even reflect on that meaning at all. So don't know why they even chose it.
The FL will get on your nerves because she is always in trouble or needing saving. She acts like she is so good to you will gag. Her acting at some points is to be desired. A couple of raised eyebrows and cringing.
The ML is just too fine, and he is worth watching. The scenery you can tell is fake in some spots. But overall, it is so convoluted.
Overall, just disappointed in the drama myself. I was looking for something much different than what I saw.
Zhao gets injured after the bombing. Yurong goes to the camp to provide aid to Zhao. But here comes Jiao Jiao acting like she can assist but Zhao tells her to go away. But she doesn't leave before she gets in her dig about their upcoming marriage. To which Zhao just looks at her. Yurong is visibly upset by the statement but just leaves. When Jiao Jiao said something about the marriage, I didn't understand why Zhao didn't clear up what she said but just let it go.
The other commander who doesn't like Zhao wants to round up all the communist and take them to Mount Lu without his knowledge. But the other commander says he wants to see if he will sign off to know what side he is on. Jiao Jiao goes to see Zhao (as he is signing the paperwork the commander sent) to tell him that Yurong and Liang are communist. She shows him the picture of Liang and he wants to know how she got this. She explains she just happened to be on the street, and she followed him. She then puts doubt in Zhao head by telling him the Yurong is just using him.
Zhao decides to go to the hospital and invite Yourong to go with him to Mount Lu because he needs someone there to address his headaches. He tells her to let him know by 5:00 PM. To which she does, and they head to Mount Lu. That evening after dinner Yurong is drying her hair when the lights go out. Zhao comes up and brings her a candle. Tells her that she should dry her hair and close the windows, or she will get sick. He talks about being attracted to her and how he still can't remember anything. He leaves as Yurong becomes more emotional.
The next day they walk around, and Yurong sees communist coming to the camp. Later that evening she goes out and see where they are kept but not (and you knew this was coming) before she snapped a branch which made everyone chase her. Where she runs right into Zhao after finding out they told him she went for a walk. He covers for her and tells her that he will be sending her away the next day.
She returns home where Liang yells at her for taking such a risk. Meanwhile, Jiao Jiao is ticked when she finds out that Yurong went to see Zhao and invited him to see her the next day at 2:00 PM. The party agreed to see if they can pull Zhao to their side by letting Yurong talk to him. Of course, Jiao Jiao gets info from the guard who tells her about the meeting that Zhao and Yurong are having.
Jiao Jiao is ticked off and so jealous until she goes to the other commander to tell him that Yurong and Liang are communist. Meanwhile, Yurong puts her cards on the table about being a communist and hoping that he will aid them. Zhao gets mad and says he didn't realize that she was really using his feelings for her against him. Yurong tells (at last) Zhao that they have known each other since childhood and that they have been a couple for a long time because she is his wife. Zhao is blown away and tells her he doesn't believe that she would stoop this low and if she really was his wife why didn't she tell him immediately when he saw him. He tells her that he fell in love with her the moment that he saw her. But he would not be used and left Yurong crying at the table.
Zhao is told when he gets back that Yurong and Liang have been arrested. He goes to see the commander and ask to see them. He sees Yurong and Liang being beaten and hanging with blood all over them. Zhao ask the commander if he can investigate more and no longer beat them. He agreed but not before he told him to thank Jiao Jiao for the information.
Zhao is fired up and comes back to the house to see Jiao Jiao packing. He asks her why she did what she did. He knew she was jealous but not this vicious. That because of what she did that Yurong and Liang will be executed tomorrow. She then starts to tell him that if it wasn't for her and her grandfather saving him, he would have been dead 3 years ago (and we still don't know how they got Zhao). Zhao hands her the gun and tells her my life is yours do what you will. She says you want to know pain; she then tells him his real name and pulls out his wedding ring. Memories start flooding back. He starts crying because he remembers Yurong! But just as he remembers he is taken away to be interrogated.

I think FL and fake husband are going to both be put in prison soon enough and ML is going to save FL. Fake husband is going to die.
Lee Doo Hak mother at last gets out that Cheol Woong is her son but now she is playing off that it was just her being drunk...sigh! So dragged out.
Jung Jin ask Cheol Woong if he did kill someone, and he gives her that lame scenario which we all know is him and you don't think she can read between the lines? Come on.
Now the fake aka mother of Cheol Woong is really on my last nerve. I have been waiting for her and that bodyguard to get it on. LOL! Then she gets the film lady to side with her basically to push Jung Jin out. But that really isn't solving the problem. Cheol Woong is obsessed with Jung Jin. I mean mama has plans and you know she does not like her plans messed with. She already has his wedding set, invitations in mind and the bride. She is going to fake him out and say she approves of the marriage only to switch out the brides. When he lifts the veil and sees it isn't her, now that would be priceless. At the same time, Lee Doo Hak and Jung Jin are getting married somewhere with just with their crew. Now that would be something...
I am glad to see in the next episode that we get Lee Doo Hak back with his crew. I hope that last part is him meeting her at the docks does happen. These two have been through too much not to have a happy ending. Just get married already and have something bigger later. Too many factors always stop them.
As I predicted Zhao is still alive and I called it, they used the no memory card. How else would they bring him back after falling off a bridge. And I still am trying to figure out how Jiao Jiao (yes, the crazy chick is back in the picture) was able to end up with Zhao from there. I mean when he fell over the bridge there was no water, only railroad tracks. So, in hindsight he should have been dead but as I knew, he isn't.
And we are talking several years here and now Zhao comes back as a commander with Jiao Jiao. They have a party to welcome him and of course Yurong and Liang (fake husband) are there. Yurong was trying to hold it together but after they danced, she ran out. She found out when she was dancing with him that he has no memory of his past.
Jiao Jiao still doesn't get it even after losing his memory he still doesn't want to have anything to do with her. Can she take a clue? I mean even though he can't remember Yurong, she still feels familiar to him. Jiao Jiao wants to stake her claim on him again by going to the hospital to tell her not to see Zhao again because they are getting married (wishful thinking on her part). She just is so vague about how Zhao ended up being with her. There is no true explanation of what happened during those years he was with her. Maybe when he remembers who he is and talks it out with Yurong when they finally reunite. But Yurong tells Jiao Jiao that she is married to Liang and there is no connection anymore (ok, she just said that to pacify her).
Now, Zhao goes to see her for his headache, and she prescribes painkillers but tells him he cannot take them all the time. She goes to get this test. When she comes back, she finds him sleeping and when he wakes up, he tells her that was the best sleep he has had in a long time. Well, that's because he is with his girl, and he just doesn't know it.
Jiao Jiao is playing Nancy Drew and following Liang after she spots him looking shady on the streets and takes pictures after he comes out of a building with several men. I'm looking for her to die honestly.
Zhao saves Yurong when they do a raid on the church looking for the man they call "lighthouse." But Liang tells her she has to be more careful.
Bombs start dropping so everyone goes to the shelters. The next day at the hospital a soldier is talking about how Zhao was like a one-man army in getting the artillery going. Yurong asks where he is.
I think that he hit his head and when they find him, he will recognize Yurong and all of his memories will come flooding back. He may have to hide who he really is and get some answers from Jiao Jiao. But there are only 3 more episodes left.
Can everyone just please wake up? I can't take this dream sequence because I am getting madder by the minute because I want to take out TH myself. She is a pain in the ass. I mean she is evil. Hell, why doesn't the evil go to her because she has it down. By the way, did I miss her while all the other gods and goddess were trying too safe everyone and dying, where was she?
These visual effect in this drama are off the chain. I feel like every sequence of fights is just getting better. I feel exhausted because I'm fighting with them. Again, I cannot say enough about Luo and that spear! He is working the damn thing!

OMG! I just started watching this drama and this is wild.
First of all, Yan Wei Lun would have been kicked to the curb awhile back. He cannot tell the truth for nothing. He actually believes his lies. Su Fei gave him every opportunity but the biggest smackdown came when she put all his busy out there at their anniversary party in front of ALL his colleagues and friends. Cut that TV on and showed all the pics of Ding Man Man and him. Man, he lost it. Everyone was blown away.
The look on his face when he was talking about how she was always by his side and forgave him. LOL! He actually in his mind thought he was going to have his cake and eat it too because he made up with his "side piece" Ding Man Man. He at first wasn't going to see her but he did. Su Fei, I believe was considering, (I say that with the slightest belief) to take him back because she saw how her daughter reacted.
But he really chose Ding Man Man over his family at the end of the day. It was all about what he wanted. The trust was gone so what was left? The daughter obviously was not enough to keep them together and it should not be.
Now she found out she's pregnant...go figure! Su Fei just can't get rid of this man...
CP: "If you die, if you are not by my side what meaning would all off of this have for me?"

But the upsetting part is that we had a lot of deaths that went from the end of 29 - 30.
The "side chick" came to the hospital and told Yurong that she was leaving and realized that Zhao only loved her and that would never change. Really? I don't even know why she was even in here. It was only for like a few episodes and she never really made a play for him. Wasted space. She explained to Yurong that there were a lot of misunderstandings of what happened between them which was nothing. She told her not to leave him by himself too long because he truly does love her.
Yurong moves back home but Zhao had already departed to go on a business trip. But he just missed Yurong because he went to the hospital to see her before he left but was too late.
Yurong and Zhao's dad went to the theater only to have them ambushed. Big shoot out and Zhao's dad is shot really bad. After going to the hospital and saving his life, Yurong let Zhao know. He rushed back via the train. But Wu Pei had things in place. The Japanese had Li Chang's family, so he switched sides. He was left to guard Yurong and Zhao's dad, but he knew that in order to get his family back he decided to take Yurong to Wu Pei and Zhao's father died.
Another ambush at the train station sees the death of Zhao's bestie, Yanchang. That was so sad. He was able to slip a gun in the back of Zhao before he died. Zhao goes up to the bridge where of course we have Yurong held captive. Wu Pei wants Zhao to kneel, so he shoots him in the knee. Yurong pushes Wu Pei and falls into the arms of Zhao when she is shot in the back. Wu Pei goes to shoot again, and Zhao spins Yurong around only to be shot in the upper part of his back.
Both Wu Pei and Zhao shoot at each other, only to have Wu Pei die on the bridge but Zhao falls over the bridge, landing we don't know where. But it is said he is dead.
Dr. B who is the friend at the hospital saves Yurong by taking her to his place. He tells her that this is not his real name. Tells her to pull herself together and join the Communist Party. She writes a letter to her father telling her that she is going to do what she must. Her father said it is time for change and cuts off his long ponytail.
We go three years ahead and we have Yurong and Dr. B together, but they are not in a relationship. Doing what they can for the Communist Party.
I believe that Zhao is not dead because it is funny how we never heard anything about his death. My thought would have been to see the body and where he was buried. She asks none of those questions. His lands, property and army were all seized by the Japanese. But there is a new person that they are supposed to be seeing so I wonder if that is him. Did he lose his memory when he fell over? Was someone below who retrieved his body? Does Dr. B know more about what happened to Zhao then he is saying? But three years is a long time, so I'm interested to see how they pull it off if he isn't dead.

So now are we having the arc when SJ goes dark? How long is that going to be? I mean everyone is chilling out in this dream so what is going on with everyone else outside? They are just calling a truce. I mean is the clock ticking or what? She has a mission, or did she forget? Snap out of it!
First of all, Yan Wei Lun would have been kicked to the curb awhile back. He cannot tell the truth for nothing. He actually believes his lies. Su Fei gave him every opportunity but the biggest smackdown came when she put all his busy out there at their anniversary party in front of ALL his colleagues and friends. Cut that TV on and showed all the pics of Ding Man Man and him. Man, he lost it. Everyone was blown away.
The look on his face when he was talking about how she was always by his side and forgave him. LOL! He actually in his mind thought he was going to have his cake and eat it too because he made up with his "side piece" Ding Man Man. He at first wasn't going to see her but he did. Su Fei, I believe was considering, (I say that with the slightest belief) to take him back because she saw how her daughter reacted.
But he really chose Ding Man Man over his family at the end of the day. It was all about what he wanted. The trust was gone so what was left? The daughter obviously was not enough to keep them together and it should not be.
Now she found out she's pregnant...go figure! Su Fei just can't get rid of this man...

CP: "How could you tell me this only now?"

Looks like we won't be seeing Jiao Jiao and Wu Bao Yi since we only have 5 episodes left, but you don't know.
But the upsetting part is that we had a lot of deaths that went from the end of 29 - 30.
The "side chick" came to the hospital and told Yurong that she was leaving and realized that Zhao only loved her and that would never change. Really? I don't even know why she was even in here. It was only for like a few episodes and she never really made a play for him. Wasted space. She explained to Yurong that there were a lot of misunderstandings of what happened between them which was nothing. She told her not to leave him by himself too long because he truly does love her.
Yurong moves back home but Zhao had already departed to go on a business trip. But he just missed Yurong because he went to the hospital to see her before he left but was too late.
Yurong and Zhao's dad went to the theater only to have them ambushed. Big shoot out and Zhao's dad is shot really bad. After going to the hospital and saving his life, Yurong let Zhao know. He rushed back via the train. But Wu Pei had things in place. The Japanese had Li Chang's family, so he switched sides. He was left to guard Yurong and Zhao's dad, but he knew that in order to get his family back he decided to take Yurong to Wu Pei and Zhao's father died.
Another ambush at the train station sees the death of Zhao's bestie, Yanchang. That was so sad. He was able to slip a gun in the back of Zhao before he died. Zhao goes up to the bridge where of course we have Yurong held captive. Wu Pei wants Zhao to kneel, so he shoots him in the knee. Yurong pushes Wu Pei and falls into the arms of Zhao when she is shot in the back. Wu Pei goes to shoot again, and Zhao spins Yurong around only to be shot in the upper part of his back.
Both Wu Pei and Zhao shoot at each other, only to have Wu Pei die on the bridge but Zhao falls over the bridge, landing we don't know where. But it is said he is dead.
Dr. B who is the friend at the hospital saves Yurong by taking her to his place. He tells her that this is not his real name. Tells her to pull herself together and join the Communist Party. She writes a letter to her father telling her that she is going to do what she must. Her father said it is time for change and cuts off his long ponytail.
We go three years ahead and we have Yurong and Dr. B together, but they are not in a relationship. Doing what they can for the Communist Party.
I believe that Zhao is not dead because it is funny how we never heard anything about his death. My thought would have been to see the body and where he was buried. She asks none of those questions. His lands, property and army were all seized by the Japanese. But there is a new person that they are supposed to be seeing so I wonder if that is him. Did he lose his memory when he fell over? Was someone below who retrieved his body? Does Dr. B know more about what happened to Zhao then he is saying? But three years is a long time, so I'm interested to see how they pull it off if he isn't dead.
