NY had it going on. Boy, did she set him up but good. He forced her to resign, which kicked in the clause for the company to sue her. He was hot. He forced a meeting, but NY had got his ex to come in because she told her she owed her a favor. The look on his face was priceless.
But when he pushed her through the glass. Man, that was epic. The kicker was, she knew that the glass was not good and purposely got that room. Now, he is at the police station. I am waiting for the guy who went in with him from the capital group to find out from his ex who her husband was. When he finds out, all bets are off, and I believe he will pull his partnership from him.
She did all of that to show he is an unfit father and that she can get her son. If not, he will never let her go.
My vibe is feeling HUJ for some reason. He is always creeping around and what was up about the picture that the boy brought in saying that remind him of himself. Did he have surgery? Is he not who he says he is? Was he having something with his fiancée?
Plus, his mother, I think she is trying to protect him because she thinks he did kill her or had something to do with it. Trusting HUJ who is the bad person I believe in all this. He wasn't anywhere that he keeps saying he was out of town.
So, I am glad to see HC's mother is getting more independent with painting and not be a "slave" in the kitchen cooking and waiting on her lazy husband. I like the chick that NY hired. She is putting HC's father in his place. Love the story she told him about the husband and wife. I think that created a change in him.
So much so, that I was happy to see the expression on HC's face when he came home to see that his father had cook. The look on his face was priceless. When the mother and father were talking to HC, did you see how for the first time the father, poured tea into his wife's cup without even thinking. HC did notice that. When he went to talk to his father and ask him what had happened it was funny to hear him say that nothing was wrong with letting her do her thing. HC was like, you never said that. He said, times change. Well, I think HC can't handle this change.
HC is always trying to bring his wife down. When they were at the school for parent's day and then did the blindfold race. It was always the women, until NY suggested it be the men. HC was too ticked. He couldn't take direction at all. Got mad and lost the race. Too funny because again, he made her wear a cheongsam dress again. Hello? Who can do anything in that tight of a dress.
It looks like NY is getting her ducks in a row. She has a place which her mother is staying at. Looking at a new kindergarten for her son. At least, she is being proactive.
TQZ's sister I can't stand her. She runs her mouth too much. HC just happens to run into them and takes them to her grandmother's and she has nerve to tell the boy from the office that he talks to much. Really? She is the one.
I think that HC's best bud wants to leave the company. I think he knows what is about to happen and wants to get out now.
The ex-wife and NY both find out about each other. I wonder when those two will have a sit down.
@ShaashaS man the beatdown on Son of Thor was all that. But HLN didn't arrive until AFTER her cohorts beat him down until he basically died saving XW. She then in turn wasn't having that and sacrificed her soul and everything to make him live. It was an epic fight that is for sure.
Oh, Son of Thor took a beat down by HLN (aka Jane wannabe) cohorts. That was such a brutal fight. But you know XW wasn't letting her man go down like that. Ultimate sacrifice -- give up everything. Now right there, that is some love people.
But all is not lost. Son of Thor is making a comeback to get his girl. We all know she will be fine and this passing powers back and forth can be exhausting, and we know that is what will happen here.
OMG!!! Wait until you find out who the ex-wife is. I cannot. This drama is way over the top.
TQZ sister needs thrown out of the legal department. I think she is still going to give more information to her. I think TQZ is out for revenge, and she is going to have HC get caught and lose that deal with his buddy from the investment group.
Can she please figure out that he has tapped her phone. I mean he gave it away when he told her that he didn't want her meeting her lawyer friend again. Duh!
Now, we are talking. Romance in the air!!! Love the walk in the woods. She just couldn't get the words out, and that smile on his face. Oh, and that kiss! Now, that was a kiss!! Yes!!!!
I am so over HC. Now, he is just turning back into the same old manipulative person he was before. Ok, he really never changed. I can't stand him. HC's father needs to go. NY needs to put them out of the house. I see her mother is hustling out of there.
I cannot wait for NY to figure out something is up with her phone, probably her laptop too. Every move she makes he knows. She needs to start wondering why. TQZ is in for an awakening too. I believe HC did something with regards to her leaving her job too after talking to her old boss.
In the previews, I think TQZ is setting him up with the guy who invested with him that he pulls out. I wish these two women would work together and bring him down.

Overall, it was a good drama to me. I enjoyed the complexity of the 4 individuals that were all intertwined. Definitely a binge worthy one.
