Oh Lord, what a trip this drama is so far. If you haven't seen "My Wife" (I wrote a review on it) this is similar with the girl that the HC is fooling around with is just as obsessive as her. A lifetime movie people.
I'll give you the 4-1-1 after watching the first 4 episodes.
HC and NY have had a wonderful marriage, careers, a son and everyone that sees and knows them feels they are a perfect couple. But little do they know that the HC is controlling, manipulative, calculating and all-around nut job. He wants everything that is his to stay that way. No one can diss or speak ill of him or they are gone.
HC has actually taken and "created" the perfect life for NY. The pro bono services that she does, he funds it and pays for one of the men that works for him to watch over her. She thought she got this on her own merit. Nope. Then a woman comes to her and wants to divorce her husband due to him cheating. Her advice was to do that. But the young son starts tripping and come to the office and tells her she is breaking up his family. He won't allow her to do so. He goes to the second floor and jumps. This is all of 20 minutes mind you.
NY is devastated. But guess what? HC pays off everyone. He pays the mother off and has the guy that is watching her in the office go and do it. But she sees the exchange and starts thinking something is up. She goes to the office gets the hard drive. She finds out all the stuff that he did. He posted pictures online so her credibility would be ruined so she lost the new job that she was going to start. He doesn't want her to work.
She is not allowed to drink and always has to wear a dress. He PAID the women in the building to keep her preoccupied so that she would stay home. He took her to the doctor and told them she is going back into depression and gave her all these pills. She stopped taking them of course. Again, she wised up.
But after 5 years, he starts cheating with TQZ. This chick is nuts. But NY is no dummy. She starts putting pieces together and goes to see her lawyer friend to help her get out of the marriage. But it is going to be hard because of how HC is. Now, she is planning everything and playing nice to get as much information on him to get out.
The son, I feel bad for him because both parents are making statements via storytelling which is them telling him things they both feel as parents about each other in a roundabout way which to me isn't cool.
QC the other lawyer that step in to help one of the founders to get his job back is also I believe going to come into play and help her.
It is going to be interesting to see how HC handles TQZ. Even NY said to her lawyer he picked the wrong girl to fool around with.
Thank goodness, all the drama from the highway to hell is over. We now have TS aka Son of Thor and his hammer (looks like it got an upgrade too have more of a demon vibe) headed to the moon pavilion. While HL aka Jane (wannabe) headed back to her peeps with BBD.
HL coming into Auntie Moon crib because BBD wants TS (Son of Thor). But that didn't go down with Auntie Moon. She was like, "hell naw." She checked her along with the help of CP and his brother. Meanwhile we had TS (Son of Thor) chilling like aqua man in the water so not to get caught.
Auntie Moon is cool. She can shut with her domain TS and HL demon domain. Get it auntie. She is no slouch that is for sure.
And of course, here comes TS's master aka Yoda to visit and guide his discipline. Yeah, we needed him to come and help our boy out. He is tripping with these demonic episodes.
Lots happening here. We have TS's master (aka Yoda) on point to help him learn to chill out with his anger issues with having the demon domain. TS is also trying to help out his girl "in the bubble" XW get over her hurdle in cultivation. We have NNR's man getting a beat down trying to join up with another team to get stronger. So, of course there was some bargaining going on that she would go if they would let Daddy Thor and baby Thor go. She would give up her soul ring and bone. Dang! Of course, I'm thinking QX isn't dead. Son of Thor will not doubt have a fight with him if he is still around. Honestly, they could have finished this at 100 if we didn't have to see how MJR and SJH got together. Now there are 101 episodes...longest ever of nothing!
Well, we were rocking today in hell...the highway to hell. I thought I was going to see Batman coming out for a minute with all those bats soaring around. But TS be getting it working that Thor hammer. All the while, HLN was his sidekick, Jane, helping him get through this. We know she is feeling some kind of way. You saw those eyes when he held her hand. Girlfriend, poor thing, when she finds out he is already taken by XW, she is going to lose her natural mind.
Please let NRR stay strong while her man is getting himself together so he can protect her. You know the other dude is going to make a play for her hard.
BBD, that woman is a hot mess with her Maleficent looking staff. All that bitterness, I need more of her backstory.
You know I love Erming. Nothing better happen to him. He is just adorable.

I'm sorry but I'm just annoyed with this drama. I feel like we are getting NOWHERE! It feels like we are on this carousel that is going round and round. I cannot stand the LDR. She just acts so pathetic along with her sister, LCR. Both going after the same guy, who wait, doesn't want either really. How about that!
The Chairman is just too arrogant. It is his way or no way. Like he hasn't lied himself.
Poor GJ just got beat down as he does every episode. Can we give him something more to do other than be beat down and whine about wanting DR. I hope he shows them all.

@NaomiNecro right? It was insane the looks they pulled off. I don’t think people realize how much it takes to do, especially the braids and putting ornaments in them. Just loved it. Braids this summer when I go back to London. Yes!!!

We will all remember this journey that brought two individuals together from two different worlds to experience so much in life, an unprecedented meeting which had so many gems and treasures for us to behold even thorough our pearls of tears.
