I always love her acting and also as a person, she looks fun to be around. I wish her happiness, wherever she is with Kevin. And hoping for a cute addition to their family if that’s what they want. But I also wish she will have a great project soon, to make up for the disappointing WTSG. It’s not her or her chemistry with LMH as some people said, because she’s done her best as always. It’s just the story and the direction that’s a let down. Have a nice trip Hyo Jin-ssi 😍
First time I watched Jun in When Life Gives You Tangerines. The role didn’t give him much room to explore. Now I’m watching him in Melo Movie, didn’t recognize him at first. Then I’m impressed by his acting. He’s talented. Hope he can get more recognition and good projects.
... that both main leads die in the end? Is that right? My heart can't take sad endings, so I'm afraid to watch…
It is sad because it is relatable. Like you’re watching your own life being projected. But apart from that it’s beautiful. You don’t know what you’re missing if you don’t watch it 😁
Different people can experience different emotions. Depending on their circumstances and characters. And that is art. For you it’s depressing. For me it’s healing. I will still recommend My Mister. And the OP was not asking for the same ‘vibes’ but ‘themes’. Both dramas are about surviving the hardships.
If you think Gwan Sik and Ae Sun never existed. My father and my mother is like Gwan Sik and Ae Sun. They were married for almost 50 years when my mother passed away at 68. My father never remarried until he died 15 years later. During those times he never failed to bring a flower to my mother’s grave every week. Except when he’s ill. Yes they sometimes argued, but my father always let my mother had her way in the end, and he somehow managed to make my mother laughed afterwards. And yes my mother stayed with him through thick and thin.
Am I the only one who thinks that Gwan Sik is badly written character? This is a realistic drama, so characters…

How old is Gwang Sik when he passed away? Because they keep saying 50 years together, is it from when they were married at 19 or when they went to school together at 10?
