Kim Mi Kyung is still Kdramas favorite Mom 😁

My second drama of Uhm Jung Hwa after Our Blues. I like her acting, nothing over the top. She’s gorgeous as she is and looks like she doesn’t feel the need to appear younger.

Just started this one. I hope there won’t be any redemption arc for the husband like any other dramas. Either Dr Cha ends up with the young doctor or she will become independent and successful in her own terms.

I checked the scene, I think it’s because the son felt ticklish so he pulled his foot away from his mother’s touch. Not because she tossed it away.

There’s already a movie Kingmaker with Lee Sun Kyun. It’s very good.

Glad the rating has gone up. Well deserved

Based on your watchlist I think you will like it. It’s enjoyable with some touching moments too

It is quiet, warm and comforting since the beginning though.

There’s a lot of other similarly good dramas where the main leads are not involved romantically but they work together respectfully or help each other toward their own goals admirably.

Only saw Uhm Jung Hwa in Our Blues and her role was not very big there, yet she stole the scenes.
And the story is interesting. Will try to watch this while airing otherwise it will slip through my long PTW list.

Somehow I agree with you. She is awkward because the trauma is still fresh. She’s trying hard to find her own way again in her world. She can only be herself with her son, the PD, Attorney Shin and the rest of staff in the office. And in that case Han Hye Jin nails her role. Her acting in the first 2 episodes showcasing that she can also be a tiger Mom, protecting her kid.

The only case that fell flat for me was the cleaner lady with the abusive mother in law.

I’d definitely rewatch this sometimes. At least to enjoy the friendship, the child actors, Cho Seung Woo and Kang Mal Geum’s acting, and the music.
