I love that even though she’s been having some tough times, Woo Young Woo’s childlike smiles are always bright and optimistic. I will miss those pretty smiles, her twinkling eyes and her ‘whale moments’. It was an enjoyable watch, despite some flaws.
I think I will watch season 2 if Attorney Woo joins Lawyer Ryu and then they will handle lots of interesting cases of human rights. Because only Lawyer Ryu sees Woo’s full potential and truly appreciate her capability, without prejudice. She didn’t even bat an eyelid about her disability. We can all learn something from her.
Apart from Young Woo breaks her character, also the way Joon Ho reacts is a bit childish. Whining and getting drunk over her saying that one sentence that they’re not supposed to be together. Didn’t he already realize early on that they will face lots of challenges. He should already know that it’s not about him. It’s about how Young Woo must deal with her disability, and he couldn’t always help her.
