Yeah yeah he definitely killed innocent people no doubt on that but i was just saying that he always had a reason for his actions no matter how batshit crazy that reason is, that is why i was saying that he wouldn't have killed ppl in the pool if they weren't somehow related to the abuse.

Yes, i am also assuming he killed those ppl in the pool cuz of the abuse but else he had no business killing them, i haven't seen him killing people just for fun throughout the show. And we can't say what triggered him to take the revenge on the whole town but one part was his father's death. Honestly, they should have shown if the other people who tortured his father were killed by him or not. He is not the type to forgive anyone.

I agree. Haven't watched anything like this in a long time and i love horror anyways so i am probably biased but for me the best kdrama of the year.

He killed those people in the pool because they were abusing him and he was still a kid, he did what he knew to protect himself, we can't exactly call him evil based on that because he did not kill innocents, i will call it a strong survival instinct. At that age, he already got so traumatized and had to grow up with the fact that his real father sold him and after that his adoptive father to whom he might got attached suffered that and he couldn't do anything and also had to watch his mother bear that who loved him the most, so i don't know if all that contributed to his insanity.

She was killed on the terror attack day, its not clear if it was before or after the attack. And i guess getting himself killed was not the part of jo kyung ho's plan.

Jo kyung ho maybe did not know everyone involved in torturing his dad but the detective's name who did feel bad for his father but was still involved in torturing him. Though he had the magic hypnosis he may be wouldn't have taken the revenge on whole town if his father was saved.
