Cuz the detective knows what he is seeing is hallucination and jung hyun is hypnotized separately at many instances by her brother to forget it all but that dude still has the key to control her. About the trio, i don't think they have listened to that noise till now. Am i missing something?

The detective is affected but jung hyun is not bcuz jung hyun has been hypnotized to forget about it all by her brother. Bcuz there were incidents where she was the sole person being hypnotized by hIm and no one else in the group received that treatment. Good for her. But i still don't think her crazyass brother will leave her alone.

for me the plot outshone everything, i am not even tiny bit annoyed by anything. I absolutely love this drama.

After watching today's episode i can say yes. It's a real slow burn though.
