I didn't understand what you meant by "pull the tracks onto his wife". As far as i can see he is trying real hard to protect her at every step.

Ep9 is the one that broke me. I had not cried till now but Soo Bin's story made me go through 7 stages of grief lol. She is basically starving for maternal affection. The characters are very consistent till now, even the big reveals did not effect the way we saw them from the beginning. They add layers but don't change the basic material. This is the way to go, i hate it when they change a character in the end to show what we perceived was a big fat lie.
