I'm on ep 11/12. Can someone explain what's the real reason why XuXiao wanted XFN to take over BeiLang. Something…
There is no conspiracy or secret plan. It's one man's obsession and dreams along with the desires of all the people he lost. He's gone too far in his life and close to the end. He lost his wife, his friends and everyone loyal to him to fight this war for the royalties. North Liang is the totality of his life thats why he cant see it go.
He is now at the end of his life and that is why he is putting all his hopes in his eldest son regardless of how many schemes he has to concoct. This is all going to come back and bite him in the ass though.
I hate watching wuxia dramas when the hero or main character has no martial arts! Is Xu Feng Nian can't fight…
The MC is going to be pulled into both worlds (martial arts and political warfare) . He will be forced to fight in both worlds and eventually his dad and kingdom will be destroyed and by that time he will have to find his path and get revenge and start over. Basically his brain skills will run out when all of his dad's world gets destroyed and he will have to rely on his martial arts to fix everything.
We need more shows like this where the MCs discuss their interpersonal problems openly instead of misunderstandings and miscommunications brought up by stereotypical contrived situations and formality.
Watched the 1st two episodes. Good things :Great acting all aroundGreat introduction of all charactersFunny scenesGives…
I think the father recognizes that the ML is way too smart than the father thats why he is giving him this much leeway in terms of disrespect. Also even though the second brother inherited all the martial arts powers, his dad still prefers that he take over because his dad favors brains over brawn.
why does it feel like the sword body guard is going to die or something. That good bye scene is so sad. My only complaint, the background is too dark. There is like no sunny day in any of the scenes. Is this the theme of the novel or something that the world is dark and gloomy.
What the heck is going on with Tencent, giving its own top anime rights away to competitors to be made into dramas. Cant they make this themselves. It's like them selling A Will Eternal to Youku too.
