I felt both happy and proud. But i totally agree with you about a guy recognising himself as Fudanshi. But i won't blame them as well. Look we live in a highly patriarchal heteronormative society with male chauvinism present all around irrespective of which part of the world you belong to. So it's like the moment u address urself as fudanshi u will be labelled as effeminate lesser male(Though i have issue with this whole labelling thing but anyways). Now even if u dare to label ur self as fudanshi and people around u do accept u, the acceptance will be usually double faced i.e. in front of the guy everyone will act as cool and behind him, they will be forced to take part in the very same gay bashing though labelled as joke. Man the very same heteronormative patriarchal society expects men to be strong and how can a strong creature be subdued by another men which goes against the whole notion of being strong.
