Amazing acting. I love the period and at the same time fantasy genre, in human with special powers form, its so good. I just wished it was made into series for more detailed actions scenes with each clan will have a showdown of their powers. So cool 😎 to watch. Gifted beings,and it's So cute to watch the crushing to deeper love scenes. 😍 if this made into series the cutie love will be more explored, at least 5-8 episodes

Hello sister. I have not rated this series yet even if I finished watching it as soon it arrived 😁. Maybe around 7.5, I wanted to give credits to how the production design, styling, make up, cinematography overall. Having a period drama has its own charm and very expensive to make.

I watched it this because I am a fan of Park Seo Jun. Character role how it's going to be portrayed is a team effort between the actor and the director. And I must say the director is lacking when it comes to characterization. I don't know. If they researched well, but it should be highlighted to him how Tae Sang act in 1945 era. I also find similarities of his acting when he started to yell with fight for my Way and as CEO in WWWSK. It's should be discussed before filming how Tae Sang should act so he can be distinctive from the rest of his roles. However it seems it was not given attention, and it reflects bec when I watch his recent vlog in YT he said he has not prepared much for the role. He still delivers in emotional scenes for me. But what I am looking is the immersion and distinct character.

Speaking of immersion, I will agree with you when it comes to the female lead. I watched her in soundtrack 1 and she is okay there and some scenes in my name. But here I find her very stoic wooden blank emotions. The microexpressions are very important to me, especially if you get used of watching high caliber acting for years. FL's monologue/dialogue is not efficiently delivered as well. Watching her scenes is like passing by like a thin air for me, no recall, no iconic deliver. And I am scratching my head questioning if she is really the lead here 🤔. It's painful to watch her stoic and same acting facial expression from eps 1-7. But somehow her acting improved a bit from ep 8-10.

In my understanding maybe the director might not put A LOT of attention to how she delivers because they are busy in action scenes, blood, creature, war thing but this is a big budget, it should be held accountable that the acting should be great especially the hype they are putting it to advertising.
Thanks to the support roles like SeiShin, Ishikawa, Kato, and Lady Maeda. You can compare the acting skills of Claudia Kim, the power how she delivers her dialogue.

For those people who are saying romance is only a side aspect, hmm how come the majority of how they advertise/promote it in many platforms and also magazine as a couple. So funny right? I am a fan but I am not blind. Nwei it's a business thing, no matter what, they will and need to sell it for the hype. The people who normally make it trending in Twitter are those CP fans.

After this show, I am more excited to see Lady Maeda/ Claudia Kim, she is so good for me. I am actually surprised that there's season 2 😂 haha I am thinking it's not worth for S2. I have a hutch it will be concentrated on romance aspect, like a rom/com genre.

OMG 🔥 finished episode 5.. What a sweet personal moment. I cried when Ji Won is telling she is feeling lonely at the same time a looser. It's really crushing her self esteem. But she remains so kind 😘. I felt her loneliness even if it's just a dialogue 😭😭😭.
And I didn't not expect I am loving 💕😍 the nerdy, unfashionable Na In Woo as Yu Ji Hyuk in his college years 😉😎. Go man! It's your time to Shine ✨☀️ I did not notice this episode just run fast like that l, it's so fast, I WANT MORE!! 🔥🎉💕 CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE 🔥

Wow, so far, so good 👍 😍 Seeing Park Min Young got thinner because of this role justifies the acting of being frail and weak dying, both physically and mentally. It's a mix of many emotions on set Episode 1, pity, hate, jealousy, infidelity, pretensions, lies, wickedness, cruelty, and death. Storytelling is good, understable, and does not make you confused. The best part is father daughter eternal love ♥️ it made me cry so much 😢. It's a good thing that too much drama dialogues are short, not to make it draggy at the first episode. Yeah when I am watching it, I also felt the romance seems unnecessary because they tend to show so many things which you don't know which direction it will take ✌️. But from their business perspective they wanted to sell CP 🤷

Merry Christmas to All 🎄🎁. Done with 7 episodes. I appreciate the effort and budget on period/historical drama with styling of all Characters. I am also glad somehow that I am watching Korean drama which speaks 60% Japanese, great time to learn multilanguage hehe 😁. But there are few misses for me, NO HATE just A REVIEW starts with writing, character/role design. first few episodes are really are disorganized, which I understand the feeling as a viewer, Pilot episode should be really engaging for me, but it seems it's just average because of too many rubbles, you don't know which direction they will tackle. The introduction of the characters are weak as well. I came to see this series because of genre and Park Seo Jun. I have known Han So-hee from Soundtrack #1. As a fan of ML, I can see the remnants of Lee Young-joon as a top owner/businessman and Ko Dong-man when he started to yell. And just at 1st episode, I did not expect to witness ML to be like in a high-school Crush first love struck✌️Bam! You saw the female doing the shampoo advertisment flipping hair. I am just confused on what or why I am watching this? 🤔I understand why people say romance is forced. It could been written to fall in love naturally not the beginning right away but can be on later part. The development of the characters are not that good in modern Century of endless streaming. If they wanted to insert comedy, they could at least follow The Mummy series of Brendan Fraser. I think it would be much enjoyable to watch and the romance will be there. It could have been a good strong plot of mother daughter arc if written very well, from 10 yrs of searching from Manchuria, to different places, at least it must felt the desperation to be with her family. 6/10 for me. I am still fan of ML, it's a bigger production and at least decent studio settings. Action sequences are okay for me, average. Will still watch the remaining next year but I should lower my expectations ✌️.
