Cheon Songyi also comes to mind when I think of a female lead with really strong character in spite of her circumstance. I can't forget that episode when all her sponsors were dropping her but she went ahead of them telling she's the one dropping them instead, LOL! She's not the pathetic damsel in distress.

Me too. It's Hi School Love On that made me reconsider and rediscover Kdrama after watching my last a decade ago hahaha!

On to my 9th episode. And I decided to just enjoy and have fun watching it and I'm literally laughing out loud at every funny scene so far. I particularly love the funny moments of the side characters frankly even if it was just about them I wouldn't mind watching.

Then maybe it's time to reconsider watching Hi School Love On now. You really can't tell the age difference whenever she acts on screen with older actors.

I'm currently watching the Korean version To The Beautiful You and though I find it really funny something is amiss. I'll be watching the original version after this seeing how positive the reactions are here as compared to the Korean one.

Those shirtless scenes on To The Beautiful You worked. I'm giggling like a high school girl. ^_^

I first saw him on Misaeng and he immediately caught my attention. Then I watched The Heirs which I didn't know he was on and now I'm watching To the Beautiful You which he's on too (again I wasn't aware he'd be in it) and now I can't get enough of him, will definitely look forward to his first starring drama role. He's so charming. I think I got a little crush on him.

Just finished the 3rd episode of this drama and though I had fun watching it I find the situation rather ridiculous. I'm a fan of manga and animé and I'm all for the ridiculous stuff (that animé and manga have) but I don't get it in this drama it's weird. Maybe because I see Tae Joon and Eun Gyeol getting attracted to a boy (but is really a girl) and having all those feels just felt weird. But nonetheless I'll be watching because I find Eun Gyeol really funny plus there's Kim Ji Won and Kang Ha Neul in it, enough reason for me to keep watching and ignore my critique. LOL!

It's that good. I plan on watching it again.

Now adding Sungkyunkwan Scandal and Coffee Prince on my Plan To Watch list. ;D

Full House was my very first Korean Drama and I liked it. I was young and in college then so I didn't have the time to really think about being addicted to Kdrama. Priorities. LOL! So now after a little over a decade, I'm rediscovering the Kdrama universe.

Ah the clichés, we already know them but we watch it anyway. :)

Despite the bad reviews, High School Love On will remain as one of my favorite teen fantasy romance drama. Plus, the OST is so good.

Same here. I started researching about Infinite when I watched this drama. I was never a kpop fan, I still don't consider myself one. I'm just an Infinite fan. I can listen to their songs 24/7. And yes despite the bad revs about HSLO, it will remain as one of my fave teen fantasy romance drama.

Same thoughts! And exactly why I'm picky about which drama to watch. Depending on the genre, I'd like to watch something that is more realistic.
