Three days ago I started watching this drama and before I knew it I couldn't stop watching episode after episode and have finished all 32 episodes just like that. Yeah I know it wasn't that great. Sure, there are far better dramas but I was entertained and I look forward to seeing and watching the characters every episode. I do get the frustration and disappointment some kdrama fans had with this show and I do have my own "wish-they-did-this" and "they-could-have-done-that" moments too but overall I enjoyed watching it. 따봉!
It's been months and we're half-way through the drama but I'm still bothered by the description of the plot for this drama. Has anyone thought of editing it? >_<
I rarely drop dramas. I'm one of those types who like to finish what they started even if it's a drag and I hate myself for it because like you mentioned it is a terrible waste of kdrama time, time I could've used to watch other more interesting dramas. Sometimes when I drop a drama, I tend to come back and finish them anyway. I remember Secret Garden was so popular but I dropped it (I know!) but a year later I decided to give it a try and eventually finished the whole thing. Most of the time this feeling of wanting to "drop" a drama occurs to me around episodes 9-11 (on a 16-episode drama) I don't know why but that's just how it is, funny huh? So I feel like it's a waste to drop it when there are only a few episodes left.
Anyway, I find this article really helpful, maybe in the future I can use these hints in deciding whether or not to drop a drama. Thanks!
Along with Live Up To Your Name, Dr. Heo, this is my favorite currently airing drama. I love Season 1 and Season 2 did not disappoint. I think Eun Jae's character hasn't progressed at all, she's still awkward and annoying but then again she's the youngest of the group (prior to Jo Eun's appearance) and I understand that this is being a "slice of life" doesn't necessarily mean she'll change after one season so I'm okay with it. Gosh I hope they make a third season.
The audacity of this article. LOL! Kidding. I know the comparison is because it's from the same network and same genre but other than that similarity BOH fails in comparison and really I don't even need to read this to know which one is the better or best drama. It's like matching a rookie to an experienced, prized fighter. *eyeball roll*
Yes I hated myself for sticking through the whole 16 episodes just because I've already invested too much time watching. I was actually hoping that it will turn out okay at least but I was halfway through the series when I realized that this was a lost cause. So I'll say we are hmm "sacrificial lambs" of sort? It's nice of you to do a public service by advising people not to watch LOL that cracked me up. I definitely wouldn't recommend this drama even if it's the last drama on earth.
I was thinking of writing a review for the first time but I've already wasted too much of my time watching this sorry excuse of a drama to write one. HAHA. :)
This show could've been good, even great had they chose to explore beyond the sad back story of So Ah and Habaek and their blossoming romance. It was such a letdown. It was over-hyped and the people behind this drama looked like they just banked on Nam Joohyuk's rising popularity post-WFKBJ. He wasn't exactly the best actor out there but I liked him on WFKBJ and I attributed that on the good plot and story-writing and a fairly good cast that the acting seemed natural. Whereas here it looked like he was just standing there saying random stuff. I'm sorry if this is coming off a bit harsh. I rarely comment on dramas I watch here but I feel so disappointed that I can't keep this to myself.
I love this drama. I've been waiting for it since the news broke out that Park Seojoon and Kim Jiwon are in it. They're my faves but more than that I am happy that they get to play these characters and got this really good story. Friends turning into lovers are more believable/acceptable for me as it establishes a real foundation for future relationships.
Hello dear author. Most of the names on the list here haven't confirmed their enlistment for this year, others were just rumors. It may be best to at least put a disclaimer on your article as this would really depress a lot of fangirls out there. Take for example Kim Sunggyu, being an Inspirit I am surprised that you put him on this list. He did mention joining the military "soon" during one his shows as an MC but he didn't mention that it will be this year. This article upsets me because not even our fandom are talking about enlistment. It would have been better if you wrote "most likely to enlist this year" for some of the actors. Thank you.
Missing 9 may not be my fave drama at the moment but you did an awesome job in pointing out the good merits of this show. I think people should watch and see for themselves. This drama really depends on the watcher's drama preferences. I was intrigued by the plot that's why I watched it and I love mystery and suspense. It does have some flaws and at times I find it borderline ridiculous but I'm still very much interested on how everything will turn out in the end. I'd still recommend this drama to people I know and let them be the judge.
