K-Drama 
It's a long Journey. When it is done, you wish you could travel more.
This drama was on my watch list for 3 years. One of the reasons for not watching this for such a long period was the proverbial 40 episodes length. I am on a long break due to some health issues hence i started watching this one. That was just the beginning .
I am not giving any clues about story as it would be better if you watch it yourself. A lot of us can identity with Xu Hong Dou. A lot of us running like mad persons in rat race leaving behind friends and family. Heck we have no time for self reflections.
Xu Hong Dou starts that journey and so do we, with her. We meet 23 major characters in the story . I attribute them as major because each one of them carry the story forward. This drama keeps getting better with each episode. There are constant challenges faced by all these characters and they keep resolving them.
The casting is perfect and acting is natural. For my money the biggest strength of the drama lies in the mature, emotionally rich and endearing conversations that take place throughout the drama between all the characters.
The cinematography and music is top notch. Yes this is a slow burn and in times of lessening attention spans and quick gratification this drama is not everyone's cup of tea.
If you want to feel the absolutely breathtaking peace, this drama is for you. The dialogue is as real as it could get. It may remind you of a lover, a relationship, a friend and in some cases a family.
I wanted this drama to continue for may be another 40 episodes. I will miss this one. I am struggling to find another such gem, although I have looked up a lot. I can't find another such soothing, heart fluttering drama
