After watching stay with me, I miss my gu hai and Bai Lou yin.. that's why I'm writing this. Actually you people don't know, what was the impact that made by this series. When we started to watch the 1st episode, we was like.. very judgemental ( I meant me and my friends). It was really boring to the point that I hated to watch the remaining episodes. But I gave it a try.. after watching the 5th episode, I got addicted.. like it's truly addicting. At last episode, i literally cried, cursed China for banning this phenomenal series. There is something in this series that made me stick to it. At first I didn't liked gu hai's character. let's be honest, how can someone like his character, he's abusive, aggressive, and always irritating our beloved Bai Lou yin. But it's the success of his acting. He did a brilliant job here. And I'm not saying that I didn't like gu hai in this series, what I said earlier was my first impression of him but if truth be told, I loved him at last.. he was the first person who showed us the meaning of passionate love. It's not about gender, relation, age, anything. It's pure when someone understands the meaning behind it. I'm not judging those people who loved stay with me more than this, but I did expect more from them because in stay with me, we will be confused- episode after episode to find whether they are brothers or friends or lovers. Some people downgrade this series by saying, love can be expressed without a kissing scene or intimate scenes.. blah blah blah.. but kissing is a way to express love and affection towards your partner. And the viewers have to understand that feeling also.. that's why we watch series, to connect, to recognise, or to appreciate those people, we are those people and we are seeing ourselves in those series. Stay with me, felt like an average series to me, may be because of the original one but they had also done a great work. To tell the truth.. it didn't stayed with me.. but addicted really made me addicted.
