Cute leads and adorable chemistry
So, I first watched the one with Wang Hao Xiang and Wan Xi last month (Husband Is Dumb, Don't Panic, I Am a Loudspeaker - 老公是哑巴，别慌我是喇叭 ‧), and it was quite entertaining. They looked good together though the chemistry was just okay for me. Then I stumbled upon the version with He Cong Rui & Liu Nian (Lingering in Mind - 念念有词) and I liked them both already. They looked good together, but the other Feng brothers were missing in this version and I just can't with the whole pink and fluffy paraphernalia that Sang Lu got in their living room and bedroom.This one, I liked a lot. Wang Yiran and Shi Tong looked so good together! I am liking that wavy locks on Shi Tong, she looked so adorable!! I especially liked the disbelief look in Feng Yan's face when his wife closed the door on his face when he came to visit his in-laws. And in this version, it was more believable since Sang Lu's parents were already familiar with their son-in-law and even loved him as part of the family, something that the other versions didn't have.
The romance was a bit slow, could be better especially with these two gorgeous leads whom I thought have a great chemistry together. But it was a nice watch and I would rewatch again whenever I needed something sweet and silly and lighthearted.
