If it was his son really i will regret watching this drama. XY lied. Yes so many times 🥲 she tried to please his mother and his mother's friends but she never once tricked him to make him fall for her.

I think he knows everything about her family,

1. Outside her apartment when she was about to caught by her real parents in front of her in-laws he saved her by saying he forgot to pickup his relative from airport.

2. When his mom called XY for selecting house to test her, he came and saved her again he said he came to know their whereabouts by calling the driver. HE ALWAYS KNEW HER EVERY ACTIONS.. Saving her repeatedly is not a coincidence

3. He is the one openly said that he planted a spy in office when she asked about how did he knew the guest she was about to invite in her show

4. In their wedding when her fake father and her college friend's father was started to talk about their profession, he immediately send her to attend them. He know she can handle her facade so he always laid calm and let her control things and he only step in when really things was about to messed.

5. He knew she had some heated argument with someone in a cafe and send him out of town. He had not only placed a spy in her office, he keeping her under his surveillance all time.

6. He invited her cousin (elder sister) to treat her lunch, he said he is interested in XY past and listened her childhood story, he never showed this interest in front of her hired stand in parents. Maybe he knew who her real family is.

7. Then the grandma with dementia i won't believe he didn't knew his wife was visiting nursing home daily for a week.

I know she lied so many times but i can sense her sincerity. He is lying too. Sometimes he looks at her with eyes that he is falling in love with her (Like the moment when she put light for bear near the pool in his house) still he married her without loving her. He just using her.
She is really feeling guilty about lying him. If she find his true motive and lies she'll really have a worst heartbreak

Hope to see him do lead role soon.. Saw him in "summit of our youth" Such a handsome actor with skills deserves lead role.

Still Li yun rui would suit more for Lu Xing yan character.Lu Xing yan was a carefree guy in his school days. He became more responsible in his adulthood still he retained his Free-spirited nature. Li yun ru would portray Xing yan the best

I liked her cuteness in high school love on, still DUI is a serious crime. So many lives lost without a reason cuz of traffic accidents. Every life is precious and everyone's time. Don't know how difficult arc 1 for A Yin & Gu Jin, but its truly difficult to watch the evil minds coming together all at once.. Whenever I see that darn peapock and Gu Jin aunty from God's realm my blood boils to extreme

Like you said she is better than naive FL of other xianxia dramas. I like A Yin having sharp eyes, a mere peacock princess can't deceive her. Hope ML soon see through those selfish peacock motive and A Yin won't face consequences bcz of ML gave the umbrella

I can't feel sorry for any characters all of them lived without thinking consequences of their actions, but i like the moral of the plot. Drug is just like a fire which no one can control. It's better to not touch. So hu starts this crime for his mother. Even the money he gained by selling drug can't save his mother. No one can ever be happy by selling their conscience. It's better to be an idler or dead than destroying others life for personal gain.
