1 episode in and the FL background has been changed. Hopefully she can unlock her full power later on.
I've watched till ep 9 and she did open her minds eye in ep 8 and she is unexpectedly strong but there are black stones in her mind ( probably placed by her master before she left the sect) and tian yao helps her remove one of those stones in ep 9 So she surely does get strong...
I was reading what many ppl wrote and looks like this drama is not following the novel as it is and they have inserted many characters in the storyline.... So basically trusting the novel for what happens next is not a wise choice here...
Looks like they added his character to make the drama more light hearted.... As i read here only that it has two ending one SE (OG. Ending) and second one is the happy ending released after "rioting" by the fans... So i guess they added him to make the ending justifyingly HE... That mean if he affects the OG storyline then this drama wud not follow the novel as it is...
