The mindset of some international fans when it comes to Asian entertainment will never cease to make me wonder if we are really advancing as humanity. These fans demand aspects that they don't even consider when it comes to non-Asian productions. For example, many of the TV series in my country (USA) do not have attractive protagonists, but generally no comments are made about their appearance, considering that the audience is made up of people from all over the world. They tend to focus on the performances, character development and story. So why can't they keep the same mentality for Asian productions?

I have been reading harsh comments about Chen Xiao's appearance.
