Bai Lu said around summer break (as in summer break for students in China), so im guessing July or August. Don't know how exactly the two dramas will be airing. Hopefully, it'll be historical first then modern right after.

Edit: And also, other than Bai Lu's roles in her first few dramas (《Zhao Ge》, 《Untouchable Lovers》, 《King Is Not Easy》) and the roles she played in 《Arsenal Military Academy》 and the yet to air 《Song of Youth》 (these are all Huanyu's works), all her other roles, she went to try it out herself to get it because she likes going for try outs. I remember that XK got his role in 《The Legends》 because Bai Lu and Yu Zheng recommended him for it after Bai Lu got the role by trying out. XK's upcoming drama with Yang Mi, if it weren't for Yu Zheng who stepped in to help him, he wouldn't be able to get the role. And if you're asking why Yu Zheng helped him get the role, it's because MANY of his fans (girlfriend-fans, especially in China) keep saying this co-star, that co-star aren't good enough for him (??). They've directly been @ing him on Weibo saying XK needs a better actress paired with him, someone who's good enough for him. Almost(?) every co-star of his have been cursed at online just because of that. LuLu's had it the worst considering their dating rumor and a misunderstood GIF. I could say more but it'd be off topic.
Last but not least, I hope you respect her co-stars, respect them as actors. Don't deny their hard work and time spent to film these. And to add a correction, 《Lucky's First Love》 is a 2019 drama, not 2020.
Honestly, this cast is just unbelievable. 3 of them (Riley Wang, Ariel Ann, Kido Gao) sang OSTs for the drama. 4 of them (Bai Lu-->Bai Mengyan, Luo Yunxi-->Luo Yi, Gao Hanyu-->Gao Yu, Wang Yilun-->Gu Youqi) use names different from the name they were given at birth. 4 (Ariel Ann, Leo Luo, Kido Gao, Riley Wang) can sing. 4 (Kido Gao, Leo Luo, Bai Lu, Riley Wang) can dance well. And you cant forget that they ALL have chemistry.

If you think about it from a psychological view, someone who has never felt he's received real love from his parents or anyone around him, and when someone who finally shows him a way out of "darkness", but just downright doesn't show the love he wants to see from her, why wouldn't he go crazy?

Might have been the translation. In Chinese, I remember he said 主动叫我圆圆哥哥, which means "to take initiative to call him Yuan Yuan Ge Ge". And I think its true. There was only one time where she took the initiative to call him that.
