Well on Coffee Prince the dude did end up falling in love and thinking he was gay, and he worked with YEH so they were always together. You're forgetting that LSG has another love interest at the time being, and he doesn't spend that much time together with Suzy.

Well, it really depends on what genres you like... It's pretty much an investigation kind of drama like you mentioned, kind of a Korean CSI.
The story is good, but there isn't much of it until the last few episodes of each season. If you're ok with that, go for it!
