Hi there, you're welcome! We do seem to have quite a bit in common indeed, just like you, the very few k-pop songs I like are also from OSTs! It still feels a little weird for me to call it "drama", I never understood why everyone called it k-dramas when they could just call them "k-series", I mean I watch a few American series with the drama genre (such as Breaking Bad), but nobody calls it drama...
Now we can call it k-series (or j/hk/t-series) and we'll both understand! Hooray us!

I really love how they manage to come up with hilarious scenes in the middle of such serious and important moments!

My opinion is all that matters, you should know that!

I highly recommend Arang and the Magistrate! It has some really funny moments, the story is pretty good and the ending was just... Very unexpected. On top of that, it has Shin Min Ah, even if you're a straight woman, you can't deny that she's beautiful! And like I said before, it was my first historical drama and I liked it, and since I didn't like The Devil, you can tell I'm not just being biased because of Shin Min Ah!

I've never really liked that kind of stuff but, Arang and the Magistrate was the first (and only) historical drama I watched, I was pleasantly surprised! If you like historical dramas, you should give it a try!
Also watching Gu Family Book now, instead of Shin Min Ah it has Lee Seung Gi, which was also on My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, and now he's a half Gumiho!
I would say I'm ok with it now, but I don't think it's something I can watch too much of.
