Allen is doing amazing in The Demon Hunter's Romance! His chemistry with Song Zuer is amazing, and the action scenes are so satisfying to watch! Love the small details in his every expression!
Hankiz Omar did so so well as Ji Li! She perfectly captured all the emotions and nuances of her character. She really brought Ji Li's heart-breaking story to life. Her chemistry with the mirror-demon was insane as well. Her visuals are just absolutely stunning! I sincerely hope she will have her a break-through role soon - she deserves so much more popularity!

I'm also on Ep 7, and I feel like the mirror demon and Ji Li just have more tension. It seems the mirror demon is being possessive over Ji Li. However, I do find Xuanye and Banxia to be very cute together! Xuanye is very protective of Banxia, Banxia is very caring towards Xuanye, and they are very open to each other. Personally, I'm in love with their dynamic, but I get that some might like relationships with tension more.
As for Banxia, I believe her fear and reactions are very valid. Any one of us, as regular human beings, would be equally scared for our lives. Banxia is actually very brave for abandoning her rather comfortable life to help Xuanye with these cases and face these dangerous situations. And honestly, if Xuanye could just kill all those demons so quickly and easily, there would be no point for this drama lol. The point is to see the conflict.
This is just my opinion though, it's totally valid if you aren't enjoying this drama as we all have different tastes.
Ep1: Does anyone understand why Xue Ziyue tries to stop Huo Zhanbai from getting medical treatment when the deadline didnt even pass yet? (I thought the deadline for getting treatment was supposed to be the next morning?)
