The reason behind Goblin's ending:

"The writer wants to show us that Eun Tak and Goblin's fates cannot be changed. Goblin will always be an immortal soul because he refused to be in peace when God offered him to do so (because he wanted to be with Eun Tak). And Eun Tak will always be a mortal soul and death will always come for her no matters what life she is in. The ending is that way because lives and fates cannot be changed for those two but they will always find, recognize and love each other. It's a bittersweet ending. It's beautiful"

I really like this drama but I didn't like the last 2 episodes. I don't know why... maybe because this is becoming too dramatic, everytime I see Ah Ro she is crying :/
