I agree with you , even though I am sad that Zhang Yuxi doesn’t get the same credits like the others , I have seen quite some coments that kept criticizing the “ female lead” becasue she can’t fight , I think that people should learn to know the difference between the “ female lead ( Zhang Yuxi ) “ and the character that female lead plays ( Cheng Ruoyo) .Zhang Yuxi doesn’t write the role herself , she plays according to the script and director. One more thing i think people failed to understand in this drama is that Qi yan never need it someone who can fight ,( also someone who can fight for you can easily turn to fight against you ) he was strong enough himself and had enough people who could fight . What he need it the most one someone trustworthy, someome loyal , someone who can undertsand him , someone who won’t judge him for his actions in the past and to tell him that he had reasons for what he did , someone to tell him that he is a good person , someone to forgive him , to give him peace , a little smile and hope and that was Cheng Ruyo . Qi yan has been dealing will people who all had ulterior motives and wanted to kill him , wanted the power , so when he meet Cheng Ruyo he was attracted by the pure heart of Yu’er , he was impressed by Yu’er desire to protect him even with her level of ability to fight , before he never really had someone who can gave up their life for him . So in a room full of darkness Cheng Ruoyu was the light for Qi Yan that kept him alive not to lose himself completely!

I am still not sure how to feel about the ending , I think I will take some time to process everything that happened and probably I will watch it one more time from the beginning. Its kind of funny of I started to watch it because of Cheng Yi , but ended up loving the character of Cheng Ruoyu then becasue of Cheng Ruoyu I became a big fan of Zhang Yuxi 😂 ( in the mean time I even watched Intense Love) ... I didn’t think this would happen but I am really glad that I watched it. I really liked the drama overall , the cast , the music , the costumes ( mostly Qi Yan’s 😂 he had quite some colorful clothes , only if his life would be that colerful 😢 ) .
In the end this drama gave one more actress to look forward to. I can’t wait for South wind knows my mood !

I respect your opinion , its just I don’t see the sweetness that you are saying at all, the least I can see the mutal understanding between them finally , and the only thing in common between them is Cheng RuoYu at least for Qi yan I can say that for sure , casue Yanzhi even though she cares about Yu’er , in the same time she didn’t care enough for her feelings at all , knowing really well how Cheng Ruoyu feels about Qi Yan . But lets see the ending tomorrow I still hope this is just a little part of a bigger plan. 😊

Yes it would be really nice to see the dance again ... Or mabye some other kiss scenes😂😬😬 or just imagine if in the end Cheng Ruoyu will become the empress 😂 mabye if the marriage between Yanzhi and Qi yan its just a little part of a big plan....

My heart hurts for Cheng RuoYu 😢😢 and I am starting to have not so good feelings for Yanzhi ... but i will wait till tomorrow and see what is going to happen , becasue if what I think will happen , Yanzhi will go in the top of my blacklist ( like she knows it really well that Qi yan loves Cheng Ruoyu and she knows how Cheng Ruoyo feels about Qi yan probably better then Cheng Ruoyu itself.😢

Yeah I get you. I know that is for political reasons but like I am pretty sure I will be heartbroken. The only thing that is keeping me continue is that I know that Qi yan Loves Cheng Ruyo and will do anything for her. 🙈

Yes I agree with you about Zhang Yuxi. I am sad that she doesn’t get the same merits like Cheng Yi or Xuan LuLu ( unpopular opinion I don’t find her that amazing) . I think that Zhang Yuxi acts really naturally . But in the same time I think that in C-drama industry everyone its all about male lead , if I go to coments all they say its Male lead Male lead. I wish that in all dramas besides male lead , femal lead to get the same hype.😊

I love so much Cheng Ruoyu 🥰 I absolutely adore her character , love the way she admits her mistakes , I love how loyal she is no matter what to Qi yan ! I love how she learns from her mistakes !I love how she didn’t let her memories blind her heart with revange and betray Qi Yan. And after seeing the chemistry betwen Zhang yuxi and Cheng Yi , I just can’t wait to watch South Wind knows my mood , please come faster 😂❣️❣️❣️🥰
