Okay so I just finished the last episode. I mean both leads were creating problems for themselves when they could solve it in an instant. She could have literally for gone to visit Hawaii for few months then return to be together. She is surrounded by people that love her so what do you mean she needs to go and stay in Hawaii! She did not even like her stepmother few months before she came into her life and it is not like she was alone and isolated. They should have focussed on healing their relationship and making it stronger in the last episode.

Also, genuinely both 2nd leads were useless addition to the story. I did not understand the need for their characters. Honestly, the 2nd FL gave me the creep, she was so awkward and weird. Getting hurt when they were not in any form of relationship, not even friendship so the ML did not own her anything. I honestly could not take their scenes together, they just did not make any sense. The 2nd ML was not as bad but yeah, not crucial to the story.

Overall, this had potential and I really liked the first episodes but it got weak after. I liked the acting though, they did good job in portraying their characters.

So I am writing this comment before finishing the last episode. Aside from the leads, which I think were making their life harder than it should be. Especially with the fact that she actually sold her home stay. Maybe she should have talked it with the ML and both tried to commit each others instead of making these half assed decisions.

Anyways, the 2nd FL was freakin awkward and creepy. I don’t even know how people say he should have ended up with her. She is just weird. Like he is not comfortable with her but she acts way too familiar as if they were committed or had previous relationship (not just romantic, but I am talking not even friendship). Their whole interaction made creeped me out and gave me second hand embarrassment. I thought her addition to the story was absolutely unnecessary. I will watch the rest of the last episode and will make another comment if it changes my mind.

I will genuinely feel bad for Eunbin. I agree that Woojae does not seem to have any romantic feelings towards her but she will literally be heartbroken if he ends up with her stepmother’s daughter.

All I can think of is DISASTER! If the FL family ends up learning that the whole thing was the stepmother’s disgusting plan, it is going to get messy and everyone is going to get hurt, sigh.

I feel bad for the family members feeling genuinely happy about the progress between the two families. The ML stepmother and father need a wake up slap.

I am enjoying the drama but I have to let this out. The ML’s family are just evil (father and stepmother), they don’t care about ruining someone’s career or reputation. They portray the stepmother as loving mother, giving unconditional love to her step children then doing extremely despicable things to others. The FL’s family is better but they are childish and their dislike towards the other family is also childish and immature. Both families are just mad, hating on each others as a result of supposed affair when it’s none of the family members that were abandoned faults. Both were victims.

The only sensible characters are the FL’s grandmother and ML’s grandfather. I guess the younger generation are also sensible but ends up carrying the burden of hiding their relationship for the sake of this stupid issue between the families.

So, I actually read the manage as a teenager and very much enjoyed it. But now looking back, aside from the cute acting and nice aesthetics, some element of the story is disguising to be honest. The fact that the FL kept crushing on the ML despite having a girlfriend is very disrespectful and corrupted. Honestly women should support women. I mean I understand that you cannot control your feeling but she was openly crushing on him and making it obvious which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I must say that I was pretty naive when I was younger looool.

Genetics hahaha. My sister is like 47 year old and looks younger than the actress. I think it’s all genetics to be honest (I really hope I am sharing some of my sister’s genes)

I have enjoyed the first two episodes. Very refreshing and unique. Initially, I did not like how the FL came off too strong (a bit pushy) but it has picked up momentum after. My only issue though, is that Korean dramas should STOP romanticising drinking culture. Their people are already suffering from alcoholism and they have so many incidents with DUI. These dramas should be held accountable for promoting alcohol misuse!!

Am I the only one who felt absolutely heartbroken when she did not come to collect him from school. I just could not watch the scene, I just wanted to give him a hug. Poor boy, he honestly does not deserve this :(

I absolutely agree. I find her annoying and nosy. She is also unpredictable and changes her mind quickly. Like she wanted to marry the ML badly in the first episodes and now she suddenly switched. She needs to chill and not be forceful.

Just finished episode 9 and although I really like the ML, I find his attitude towards his father quite childish. I found it hypocritical that he was not minding his mum being in a relationship but was angry at his father for dating someone.

I just find it appalling that he thinks the whole issue of the divorce was caused by his father. A good mother would not abandon her child. The fact that he was abandoned is quite telling of the mum. I think he just finds it easier to process blaming it all on his father.

I also have so much respect towards the female lead especially her patience. I would have flipped the table over and called off their hypocrisy to their faces these disgusting people.

I have only watched up to the 8th episode but oh my lord. The mother is absolutely disgusting and mentally unstable. She is definitely not sane. I don’t understand how people have empathy for her when she is literally the root of all the misery happening to her family.

She cares too much about what the society thinks of her on the expense of her children safety and well-being. She is honestly rotten to the core and very hypocritical. I am not sure whether the death of her first daughter has been caused by other factors but she is definitely the main cause of her death. Father is spineless which makes the whole family dynamic even worse and this is exactly why some people are not fit to have children.

Another element of the drama that I don’t understand is the ML attitude towards his father. I absolutely think that the father has neglected his wife and led to the divorce but I don’t understand how he is only seeing him as the bad guy.

I mean the mum has abandoned him at the end, so how come, he does not blame her at all. Even if I am in a miserable marriage, I will definitely take my children with me as I would worry about their well-being. Not sure if more to come from the rest of the story but it seems to me that his mum has moved on (and maybe has her own family) so I don’t understand why he is only faulting his father.

This drama is weird. I am liking that it is short and simple but I cannot deal with the concept of forcing something like showing the 2nd FL as competent. I mean she is very delusional thinking that she would get a chance with the ML if it was not for the FL.

Also, how are they going with the plot that she is competent when she was literally sleeping with clients few episodes ago. I really don’t like her character. She has been acting upset like a child when they can not get what they want.

The only character that I like is the 2nd ML, he’s really calm and attractive. The rest are just okay.

I agree it’s not justifiable. I mean what’s wrong with men having children? They were not even in relationship to disclose such a thing. I mean I understand her point of view of probably not wanting to take responsibility for that. But to think of him as a jerk/manipulator, trying to deceive her into becoming a step mother is just stretching it.

I do think her reaction is also to do with her friend who I don’t like. The friend was projecting a lot of disgusting accusations towards the ML then have the audacity to laugh it off after the misunderstanding was cleared. Honestly made me roll my eyes.

I have been enjoying the drama so far and I like both leads but to be honest the FL attitude in today’s episode was disappointing. Felt very shallow and judgmental. She could have literally asked him and cleared the whole situation but instead she was ignoring him and giving him the cold shoulder.

Also, the FL friend is the most unlikable character to me. Like what the hell does she wants? Her attitude and behaviours toward the male friend are just unacceptable. Like she initially friend zoned him then get upset and jealous when he is being polite to other girls. Then try to make him jealous. She literally needs to get a life. I really like the male friend, he quite mature and pleasant.

I agree I literally was like whaaat!! When I saw it. Since when you see veins, you actually palpate them after securing the tourniquet. I have taken blood from people with tattoos before and some of them have some of the greatest veins to be honest lool.
