Episode 5 was absolutely mind-blowing. It totally deserves a 9++ rating. I've watched up to episode 5, and honestly, episodes 1–5 have all been incredibly engaging. There are so many things in this show that I've never seen in any other variety show I've watched before. Even compared to the variety content from the K-pop idols I follow on YouTube, the difference feels like heaven and earth.

Ep 1–2 had me laughing my head off, literally beating up my pillow. THIS GOTTA BE A 9!!

Right? It’s only 2 episodes, but it’s already that good.

Different? Not really. I agree with the lessons you took, but at the same time I try to understand love from the characters’ perspective, the one that made you wonder how a relationship could be like that. But honestly, you don’t really have to question it, because when it comes to love, humans are just that complex.

You’re too shallow maybe because you’ve never truly loved or been deeply hurt. There is a kind of love that never fades, even when the relationship ends. Maybe you could say that the love was exhausted on that one person. That’s why, even after trying to move on and start a new relationship after the deepest heartbreak, it just doesn’t work. Life is vast and full of possibilities, but the human mind and heart can be narrow.

From this drama, we learn one simple thing: never underestimate other people’s suffering because what seems easy or something we think someone is strong enough to handle might not feel the same for them. This drama feels different and at times even pointless, like why watch it if they don’t end up together and if it just repeats the same story from 10 years ago, but maybe that’s just how life works, we often go through it without really thinking about what will happen next and in the end all we can do is learn from what has already happened.

I prefer the original version (us n them) because this one removes the line, “we have everything in the end, just not each other” which is such a crucial part of the story. The original feels much more raw, angsty, and emotionally devastating. I also prefer the original “father” version. It just hits deeper and feels more authentic.

Episode 20 was totally on fire!

I’m at episode 12. He’s such a jerk, and she always finds a way to tolerate him. But I love this show because it hits different. Other dramas I’ve watched only give neon-green-flag men.
