I'm not going to comment about the drama or performances, since I didn't watch it yet (was just passing her while checking Na In Woo's drama list), but there is one thing wrong in what you said. It wasn't about false saying. He admitted the bullying accuses, just rejected the sexual ones. (that seems to be really false) But he did what he did with all bullying, so it wasn't false. What a beautiful quote. <3 It makes me think of The sound of magic, where all the drama is about the importance to be yourself and not not worry if you're a little childish, crazy. About that is society that makes us feel wrong. And why it's wrong? Are we hurting someone? I like to have fun, I like to dream, I like to bring positive vibes. Sadly not everyone can like us, but just don't say that it's disgusting to be like us, or that's creepy that someone would like someone childish. And what is make someone childish? It can have many meanings.
My fav on air drama. Female in distress? She is actually the one making all moves in Ep 3. She is just learning the real world, but she is creative and smart in her own way. And tbh it's not her fault that she was trapped, and had to escape. That place was a prison. But she is able anyway to handle people outside. She is such a sunshine. There is nothing wrong to her to be herself. The world and people should be more accepting to people different from them. And in real life I would like to have someone like her next to me. More than a step behind, it shouldn't be a step forward? Why people should hide themselves and conform to be ordinary? Is it that wrong to wear a smile and act a little childish? In her way she is still too much, but she is learning. She is improving, but why she should change? She is literally bringing fresh air everywhere. I admire her selfless personality. If she will blend her personality to real life, she will be really awesome. Since people like her exist for real (well, more mature since they were able to live their life and learn how to actually live), are they wrong? I don't see her as a damsel in distress, she is actually sassy. She adapts quickly and is able to use her own mouth to speak for herself. And this is the least drama that needs the troupe of the badass cold lead. Not everyone in life should be like that. Some positive character is needed too. Fun how positive childlike characters are disliked... they don't harm anyone. She will get mature, but that doesn't make her wrong.
We're just a 2 eps and she just started to get to know real life. She's not that different from a Rapunzel. Sunshine personality, kind of childish. She was saved by her imagination. We should let her grow up and see how the world is, it's not her fault. But I hope she will grow up becaming mature without losing her sunshine personality and fantasy soul. I loved the conclusion of Kang Ok Dong and Dongseok, so bittersweet. I didn't like her almost until the end, and loved how they concluded the story in a deep realistic way. I didn't forgive her, as she didn't forgive herself. She don't ask sorry, don't say he wants him as children again and we get all when she says: I'm a follish. You have an insane mother. To add at the end: I deserve to die. She was not for sure a good mother, and I liked that they didn't put the "she did it for her son" troupe. Yes she gave him an house, but she says it wasn't just that. She said "I lived a foolish life" crying over regret. And to the reply "Do you want me as a son in a next life?" the no is all 'cause as we saw she felt like she bring pain to her family. Her daughter died, and she feels responsible (even if it's not her fault) and she made her son sad and resentful all his life. Her redemption was the last meal... and that hit me so hard. I cried for all ep. That meal that she didn't prepare for him for almost all his life. And just after doing that, it was the end. That was the last thing needed. I will never forget the insane behaviour she did, at the end she didn't pretend to save him or anything (like in some troupe). But the way the handled it, as a bittersweet goodbye. His "I realised I didn't resent her, I just wanted to embrace her" All he wanted was his only family back, he literally broke me. He is such a realistic character. Hands down to both actors for the episode, outstanding acting. Overall as said before this drama is a masterpiece. ps: this is just my opinion as I saw it
