Scarlet has an interesting basic plot, but a weak cast and character development... and also I can't ship anyone. But I will not drop it, since it could get better, and I hope so. But my favorite character is already... dead X'D But it doesn't mean that I go on Scarlet page to write "how can you like this?", it doesn't even make sense -.- Everyone should stay in their pages, without insult anyone, and enjoying their own dramas. I'm watching scarlet and I'm so disappointend, this drama have a interesting plot, but the cast/acting is so terrible... I had a mental breakdown the first episode... I'm angry since it could be a good historical drama, but the cast is... and not only also the characters, aren't at 360°... for me more than an amazing story it's important a solid base where build the story around, and not a amazing story (not so original, time-travelling is more used than cross-dressing in the world) witht lacking characters. I hope it will get better. I'm not saying this as Moonlight fan, but as historical drama fan. In an historical drama the most important thing are amazing and solid character, with great acting, since they need to carry the show

Seriously, if you don't like it, don't watch it. If these two dramas were in a different timeslot nobody would come here to say that and that. You find it boring? If you don't like it it's not your genre, it doesn't mean that other people would not like it. I usually love complicated story, but this one is like a fairytail, it's magic: the music, film photography, the simple feelings... the chemistry. So it's not for Park Bo Gum, if I would love everything with him I would be only a fan girl who doesn't matter about what is good and what is bad. I rated with low score even drama/movie with my favorite actors.
yeah, I'm sure the story will be more intense right now, and I really hope... I hope will be a development like Princess Man, their love story will be similiar. A Romeo-Juliet lovestory. And not only, there are the oppositions, the Queen's fake baby, Crown Prince's mother who has been murdered, the little princess who is the only witness. Historical dramas usually stars after the first part of drama. I think that the minor problem is the wedding... In most of the Historical dramas it happens, I saw it many many times... The real problem is her identity and the war between the Palace and the People.
I'll never stop to cry... so real... I saw my life in this drama, it made me think of my future and cry for my chilhood... Beautiful. Everything was perfect.

I continue to think: where is the fanservice? Then every single romantic comedy are a fanservice... this is taken from a Novel/Webtoon, the story was like this... a pure love story. Not all historical drama are only war and politics (I love them), but there are also romantic ones.
