Great chemistry between the couples but, appart from that... really weak scenario and worldbuilding (this Uruk country is a mess of stereotypes and scenaristic shortcuts). They could have done way better. And the bad guy, really ? TOO CLICHE.
Amazing actor, I found him meorable in Misaeng, and now I completely fell in love with him in Six Flying Dragon. Between him and Yoo Ah In, my heart is going to explode.
Kill Me Heal Me. I just can't understand what is so good about the male lead acting, the couple, or even the story. I found it really cliché, and coudn't even finish it. It was an average drama, at best.
I was waiting for a currently watching Six Flying Dragons, one of the best sageuk ever with Empress Ki, thanks Yoo Ah In for making me love early Joseon era (I totally rule my ancient korea history class now <3)

It's been a long time since I've waited so impatiently for the next episode... and for a vampire drama ! I'm usually more on the werewolf-team, but, well... Gwi <3 (and appart from the excellent casting, the story seems well written and really interesting). Can't wait for today's episode ^^
true true true. I happened to me at the end of so many dramas... You have to be brave, and cary on because soon... You'll find new marvellous dramas to watch !
To watch Viki even if you live in a restricted geographic location, you can use softwares like Anonymox (Firefox add-on) that will change the country of your IP adress, if I want to I can be located in the US (it's also good with netflix ^^)
One of te greatest articles I've read here. I watched the first episode of Valid Love, and found it really great. Kind of made me a similar impression than Reply 1997 (realism, randomness, etc.), and I was waiting for it to be complete and for te right time to watch (next vacacions I think), but maybe... Maybe I won't be able to wait that long now ! ^^
I really don't like this article. It shows a definite favouritism for Kdramas and really just complaining. How…
I think you just didn't understood the point of the article : it's not about how kdramas are better than others, but how kdramas fangirls can anoying at times because EVERY country produce good AND bad dramas u.u'
I started with japaneses dramas and the first time I tried to watch a Kdrama I found it pretty awful (Coffee Prince, I rewatched it some time later and now it's one of my favorites), te language was weird etc., and then I tried another one because I was bored and three years later I'm an addict. Same with Tdramas, I coundn't stand chinese, and then I took some Chinese course at Uni and now I find really beautiful to hear. As you said it's mostly a question of habit.
For my room mate, I started with hardcore japanese dramas : Switch Girl and Hana Kimi. I think that the crazyness level of these dramas (mostly Switch Girl) is universal. Then, because I wanted her to have a taste in Korean Dramas as well, I decided to show her dramas with badass and successful woman lead, such as "I do I do", or just less cliché interactions like in "I need romance 2". But I agree with Reply 1997 : this drama is universal.
You should have made a part about THE Evil step-mother / mother-in-law every rom-com or melo is doomed to have... Also, I would have really liked King2hearts if I hadn't have the urge to skip the parts everytime the ludicrous vilain John Mayer appeared on screen : I totally agree with you.
