He is part of the generation of japanese actors that I ship more than anything : Oguri Shun, Mizushima, etc. I fell in love with dramaland thanks to them <3
it was sooo great but i think it's a littel bit overated :/ i have watched better dramas with lower raiting :/
I agree about the overrating, but in your list I only find Reply 1997 better... but the dramas cant be compared... they re too diffrrent from one another.

I started it because I'm a big fan of gender bender series, but, seriously... I'm quite disapointed. There really is too much information : I don't know if it's about nail art, love, or fantasy, or... Well, it's quite irritating, and I'm not fan of the cast (only Park Gyu Ri, she's really cute). I'll watch it until the end, I think, but it's far from being the drama of the year.
Brain, what brain ? I'm not even sure I still have a brain, after watching a drama, but when I'm not, I'm always the first one to say how idiotic, and unrealistic they are... before watching a new episode. I'm from a very pseudo-intellectuel familiy/friend group, so, watching dramas has always been my guilty pleasure. So wrong, but so deliciously right, when it comes to the 'pleasure of the eyes'... I DON'T CARE ABOUT ACTING SMART AND SOPHISTICATED, I JUST WANT TO BE A STUPID AND HAPPY FANGIRL. Sometimes.
the same as the main review : a movie with great potentiel, but which lakcs of consistency. It's cute, and makes us feel good about ourselves, but, beside that, no real love story, or twists in the plot. In my opinion, it's not a bad movie, but was quite disapointing.
... I just fell in love... again. But how a female being could possibly ignore his voice and killer smile ? Tsss, I'm sooo pissed with myself u.u But he gives me a feeling (in School 2013) just like Oguri Shun in Hana Kimi... And I could not, for the life of me, resist it.
OH GOSH ! I ALWAYS BOW ! I really thought I was the only one, but yeah, everyday, in every possible situation, when it comes to greating, appologising or else, I bow. It's even worst when there is asian people in the area ... And I always say 'Aigoo' or 'omo' or the 'Aiishh' when I'm tired or angry... or hungry. I also straightened my hair and tie them in black... (but I had never realised that this taste could come from watching dramas, until now) And I'm sooooooo happy when people ask me if I have asian origins (well, I have asian origins but it's quite far away...) But the worst of all is 'itadaikimasu', I really can't help saying it instead of 'bon appétit' (I'm french), nobody understand, and when they do, it's even more ridiculous... The worst is when I'm in a japanese restaurant...

Well, that was quite a good drama, with a great cast, a really catchy script and quite nice acting, but I couldn't give it more than a 8. I know I'm picky, but there were too much anachronisms, inconsistencies, and the music bored me around the 20th episode so, well... You have to watch it because the story is great (among other great things), but this accumulation of little fails was... tiring with such a long drama (28 episodes !)
Well, the cast was quite nice, and with Dream High 1 they had the potential to develop a great plot (even without using the same caracters) but, in my opinion, it's completely failed. Past episode 2 it becomes repetitive and boring, and as said by someone, if you make a drama about teenagers in an artistic school, maybe it would be nice to actually show them struggling to enter the artistic world (as in DH1). Romance is nice, but romance isn't everything --'... Really disapointing, I dropped after Ep8 I think.
I only saw it for Oguri Shun... Well, he, personnally will never disapoint me (I'll always be a huge fan of his work... and physical appearance, and OMG the sound of his voice), but the drama in itself... Well, that wasn't completely bad (Ishihara Satomi was really really cute), but I've seen better. I'm sooo nostalgic of the Oguri Shun of Hana Kimi u.u
Cute movie, but I've seen better. It made me think of Lovely Complex, the two are based on a manga, so the way of filming is quite similar... And I didn't like Lovely Complex (the anime is soooo much better)
But OMG, Junpei is really hot... and I love his shoes u__u.
