they just announced season 1 replay so maybe it’s coming soon. filming has been done for months.

considering how strict China is with scandals and halting and burying projects when actors in them have scandal and the fact that he’s been active (according to his filmography here), his accusations either were false or disappeared? anyone have an update?

five episodes in and I’m HOOKED.

probably not but the point stands. I went through tha comments getting to yours and I didn’t see anyone explicitly say they didn’t like the ship. at least not in a malicious way.

okay, and in other people’s it does. 🤷‍♀️ if everyone just put ‘yay best show ever’ no one would have any idea if a show is good for them.

this day and ages, opinions that don’t go with the majority tend to be panned as being a “hater”. I always try and give shows 2-3 episodes and I think maybe this would have hit better if it were two episode premiere? idk. but the issue with hype is that you build it up so much in your mind that it’ll never live up. I’ll still watch it.

who dislikes the main couple. did anyone say that or are you putting words in someone’s mouth? this is why no one can have an opinion because the second someone doesn’t like someone they’re a ‘hater’ and ‘don’t like the main couple’. or they just didn’t like the episode and are capable of rational thinking.

but that’s someone’s subjective opinion. you can’t say it ‘doesn’t deserve’ something based on your own opinion. arguably, mgb had a better premiere episode.

that’s why ratings on these apps mean nothing. but like I’d have probably ranked ep1 with a 7. didn’t live up to the hype but that’s another issue. but review bombing ruined any trust I had in any rating system

first episode was boring and it’s all subjective. just because you like something doesn’t mean everyone else does.

at this point, with the script still going through final approval and barcode mid filming revamp which is taking longer than we expected… I feel like midsummer/fall or end of the year. we’ll likely see revamp and whatever pilot gmmtv puts barcode in by the time this show is in active production.

I guess they meant April of 2026, then.

barcode is also in revamp and they haven’t even broken 10q’s yet.

so it’s actually not uncommon for gmmtv actors to act outside of gmmtv. Luke, New, and Mook (she just left but still) have dramas outside of the company. no doubt when barcode signed with gmmtv, this project was a caveat - like I still want to do it - before signing.

not to mention barcode is filming revamp and they’re like in q4. they’ll probably be filming till early to mid summer. so late summer at the earliest, if no other cast member has schedules.

her twt post seemed to hint she’s focusing more on business than acting but she hasn’t left the ent industry yet.
