Just started it and the first thing I see is a doctor who’s treating GSW patient so calmly as if it’s a flu
I thought the same. I work in housekeeping at a hospital and watched a code in progress in the ICU. like everyone and their momma shows up and they’re doing compressions and sweating and it’s like exhausting work. and I’ve seen the aftermath of a code blue in the er. there’s no way anyone is that slow and calm.
I think maybe the issue is that you’re focusing too much on what position the character Great takes in the bedroom…
I mean, I’ve been a part of conversations about how sexual relationships aren’t always so one way or another (regards to top and bottoming). that versatility in sexual relationships isn’t some mythical thing. I keep seeing directors talk about real, lived, queer experiences driving narratives. but they are kind of stuck in a binary.
but I think aside from that, I think the fact that this character will be so completely different than Vegas was is a thing Bible probably enjoys. I don’t think he’d be too stuck on the sexual aspect as long as he’s challenged in his acting. he’s one of the few actors that I think REALLY enjoys acting. so he’s probably so excited.
but honestly, if you’ve seen manner of death, you’ll have an idea of what Sammon shows are like. I think the plot will have you once it starts.

but like also, if Bible and Jes are permanent, I wouldn’t mind. he’s got YEARS of experience in the industry, he treats Bible well and is actually protective of him. his ability to navigate the press and nosy people is tbh exactly what Bible needs.
in conclusion, BOC tend to buck the trends. idk if the arrangement of top/bottom would be stuck or not. but I feel like Bible doesn’t care. which is ultimately what matters -
