Well guys….I have hung in there up until this point but have to say it’s a wrap for me. I so wanted this to go on my rewatch list but I hate sad endings. More than that I hate cliffhangers and unresolved issues which is what seems to be coming.
This was awesome! The credit card segment was like a major flashback for me. And the contrast at the end between the rich self and the poor self was sheer magic. Who hasn’t thought of what it would be like to be rich? People play the lottery every day with that thought in mind? What price are we willing to pay to be reborn rich? Those who have ever been down to their last dime might have some insight .
This is so much like My First Love which I really enjoyed and I am already enjoying this series. Korean bls are the best when it comes to combining elements of humor and drama.
Here's the Song :)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31s-RJemUE0
Thank you. I was also able to read the lyrics in English….so beautiful but very foreboding and haunting. I just had to download it to my playlist. Again, thank you.
I am still intrigued. Only a few more episodes and we still don’t have a clue as to how this will play out. We do know that greed, envy and jealousy obliterates all rationale. Loved the music at the end. Tomorrow should be a doozy.
I really liked ep 4. It’s apparent that in whatever universe Dew is in he is clearly not into Mint. It’s also clear that his friends know his real sexuality and so does Mint. I don’t find her unrealistic because I do know of females who have this thing for gay guys. I even know someone who married a gay guy. Like Dew he was just a nice guy, wanted to please his family and so went along to get along. Also, the uncle gives another possible suspect as to who killed Dew. I like that Fluke is playing this type of role . Ohm too. The episode didn’t drag and I actually liked the back and forth in time sequences. Mint may even be the murderer.
I cannot understand how this has an 8.0 rating and other current , more interesting series have been rated much…
Thank you. I’ll do that. It just seems so arbitrary and random. The overall rating will be be low but the rating for each individual episode will be much higher or lower at times.
I cannot understand how this has an 8.0 rating and other current , more interesting series have been rated much lower. I know it’s a matter of taste but it seems like people are messing with the rating apparatus.
Well I just finished watching and I’m crying and smiling at the same time. I am from a different culture but if I close my eyes I see my life’s journey. My grandmother and mother both suffered from depression. Teen pregnancy. Mothers and sons estranged. Multiple divorces. Financial crises. Toxic relationships. Physical and mental disabilities. Death of a child. Life threatening occurrences. Broken hearts. Broken friendships. But through all these life challenges we have survived and got the victory. This was a series about healing and reconciliation. I love the last lines…We were not born to suffer and be miserable. We were born to be happy. Take care everyone . Also the music was awesome.
Well guys I read your various comments and based on what I have read I decided to give it another go and I’m glad I did. This is no romanticized view of life. This is the raw reality. I’m on ep 6 and I have experienced or know someone who has experienced each life situation. Watching it bought back painful memories. But it also reminded me that one can find joy again. One can experience happiness again. So thanks to you guys I’m giving it another try. Take care and be safe.
Just to clarify something below - the rating for this show on MDL is pretty low and is one of the most unfair…
I agree which is why I don’t put much credence in MDL ratings. Out of curiosity I listed 23 of the most talked about BLs for 2022 and their ratings on MDL. Triage was the highest at 8.5 . Eternal Yesterday was 7.9 and War of Y was 7.3 which I feel is way too low. I have read comments where the person deliberately scored a series low because they didn’t like the actor or how their favorite bl actor was portrayed. Nothing to do with the quality of the storyline or how the actors played their respective roles. So sometimes I won’t even look at the ratings until I’ve actually seen two or three episodes.
I started watching this because of Kim Woo Bin and the stellar reviews. I’m just on ep 4 and there have been some bright moments but so far it’s left me feeling very depressed. I guess I should have taken a hint from the title Our Blues. Life is hard. I get that. I’ve lived it. And I suspect at the end our couples will find peace and happiness. But do I feel up to going through all the emotional turmoil and angst. This is a stellar cast and the storyline is a good one but this may not be my cup of tea.
So far so good. Can’t believe I’m seeing some of my favorite actors in the same project together. Just seeing Perth again has brightened my day. Looking forward to how it all unfolds.

That’s why I also share my perspective and also like reading the analysis of others like yourself.
