It’s on GAGALOO with English translations. Two episodes and I’m all in. Japanese bls are like no other. They go for the jugular and portray people with are their imperfections and flaws. People may not like Ritsu but he is what he is and I have come across a lot of Ritsus in my life. You hate them but you love them at the same time. Love how Mitsumi is portrayed so far. He’s male and he’s gay but his reaction to Ritsu is no different than any one who is in love and has been cheated on. The Japanese are so good at showing the commonality between sexes…..male,female, heterosexual, gay, bisexual we all bleed red. Can’t wait to see what unfolds next.
This is true. If people paid attention to all the details, it is not confusing at all. That's why I don't get…
I agree with all you said. The typical formula bl series has become very predictable. I love it when we see the writers stepping outside of the box and giving the audience storylines which keep us on edge and give us new scenarios.
I was finally able to see Ep 11-1 and I loved it. It was the perfect ending for me. I really don’t care which Dew or Mum…I don’t even care which Mint. I’m just happy Mum/Ohm and Dew/Fluke are together at the end. This will go on my rewatch list.
I still am enjoying this series. I could do without the Maggie character but she is not the worst female character I’ve seen in a bl. So glad Perth and Chinon got more screen time. Love both couples.
She's WAY to nosy, pushy and bossy. She has pestered Dew for YEARS even after being rejected numerous times. That…
Great post! I have two sons and one daughter. They are close and I know they love each other but they stay out of each others personal life. They will voice their opinion but respect that it’s their sibling’s life. I just want to know if this is an example of how Asian culture really is. Whatever the writer’s objective with Mint was it bombed in the worse way. I actually like the overall storyline and the couples but I fast forwarded most scenes with Mint. Thai writers really need to take a look at how Korean and Japanese bl series depict female characters.
It’s over and I am smiling from ear to ear. This will go on my rewatch list. No unresolved issues…that’s my mantra…overall it was fun to watch…I actually love how segments from UWMA were interwoven into the storyline. Afterall this is how it all started unlike some follow up series where you keep wondering where everyone from the original series went. I also love each of the couples: A+ …Win/Team …sweet A… Bee/Prince…actually actors in BLs face same problem unfortunately due to overzealous fans B+…Tul/Wan…all Wan needed was push in right direction…so glad Tul finally gets a love interest B+…Pruek/Manon…Manon gets both role and bf A…Dean/Pharm …it started with them so it makes sense to me A+…Brothers…supportive from start to finish A…Parents….accepting A…Friends…supportive C+…Bee Agent…does come around No thirsty, female character, no ex lover, no toxic/homophobic references Loved the scene with all together on the beach and the ending scene with just Win/Team. Now it’s back to 609 Bedtime Story.
I want to start this now..On a scale of 1 to 10 how good is this? Thanks in advance...
8 if you remove the female grinch Mint…the premise is intriguing and if you love Ohm and Fluke it’s worth it. There also is a second couple which provides some sanity and the closest thing to reality.
I just saw ep 10 and I won’t even try to explain…if I can buy the storyline of a teddy bear becoming human I can ride with this. What do dislike is how the character Mint is written. Are Thai women really that pitiful. She clearly states she has been rejected by Dew several times. Yet she still wants him. This would clearly be just another marriage of convenience. It will be interesting to see what next week brings. I do see a potential series with the other couple who at least sealed their deal with a kiss. In some universe Mint was hit by a car. May the next time be a truck. Lol.
From the comments there are two endings…ugh! How do you know which is the happy ending? I don’t do sad endings . I still can’t get ep 10 so this may be a wrap for me…I stayed this long for Ohm and Fluke…I generally don’t enjoy the quintessential triangle with the desperate female trope. I’ll just watch the end of Between Us and rewatch UWMA to get my Ohm/Fluke fix…lol
A+ …Win/Team …sweet
A… Bee/Prince…actually actors in BLs face same problem unfortunately due to overzealous fans
B+…Tul/Wan…all Wan needed was push in right direction…so glad Tul finally gets a love interest
B+…Pruek/Manon…Manon gets both role and bf
A…Dean/Pharm …it started with them so it makes sense to me
A+…Brothers…supportive from start to finish
A…Parents….accepting
A…Friends…supportive
C+…Bee Agent…does come around
No thirsty, female character, no ex lover, no toxic/homophobic references
Loved the scene with all together on the beach and the ending scene with just Win/Team. Now it’s back to 609 Bedtime Story.
rewatch UWMA to get my Ohm/Fluke fix…lol
