Oh yes that was over thirty years ago. That’s why I’m optimistic about Jim. My spouse made a full recovery. My three children are all adults and doing well. I changed careers. My kids even joke now about living with no cable and only having the bare necessities. What was most important was we had love and family. Wen is that love and support that Jim needs in my humble opinion. Thank you for responding.
Those of you who are dying to see Alan and Kaipa together an excellent alternative would be The Eclipse series. Khaotung and First are at their best and once again give an A+ performance. In addition, the series is another good one dealing with social change and acceptance .

Been there did that…who has time for political correctness when your company suddenly decides to downsize and you are on the chopping block, your spouse has a major stroke and the disability check is less than half his salary but the mortgage is still the same and the property taxes just went up. The light bill is due and the gas bill too. On top of that you have a freshman and junior in high school plus a young adult who is going through his own personal crisis and looking to mama for help. You are barely treading water. Yes, I can clearly identify with Jim.
Because it's not romance unless they're mouths really touch. /sarcasm. Sigh I'm so tired. The kiss obsession is…
What is this obsession with kissing on the lips? Is this some sort of weird bl fetish? I’ve watched so many romance series where after 30 episodes there was not even a peck on the cheek but the romance and love was intense.
Wow! I have been so focused on Earth/Mix, Gemini/Fourth, and Khaotung/First that I completely overlooked Mark who plays Salenz in Moonlight and Thiu in My School President! Father to be in one and high school senior in another! Again, the cast in both are so awesome! I miss them already!

Thank you for sharing. I stumbled upon the bl genre during the pandemic. I soon discovered that many presented a picture of what we would like to believe. But we still have a long way to go.My main concern is for the youth who are the most vulnerable
I'm not mad at Jim after seeing the preview for next episode like most people here, but I am intrigued to see…
I have to be honest… I don’t know how I would react…I know when my cousin found out his son was gay his initial response was much worse than Jim’s response. And it wasn’t because we didn’t have other people in the family who were gay. I think it was thinking about how much harder life was going to be for him. People can be downright cruel and the bullying that these young people face in school is scary. As a former educator I’ve seen it first hand. I could provide a safe haven in my own classroom but what about the colleague down the hall who secretly supports the bullies. Next week I hope the conversation moves in a more supportive direction but you have to walk in a person’s shoes to understand where they are coming from. Whew…I’m making my own self get emotional.
Wen flirts with Jim, Jim "We talked about this"Also Jim, lets Wen lie on his lap, holds hands on the beach. babe…
I agree. I went all the way back to episode 1 when this stuff started and Jim was sending signals to Wen from the first glance. His lips may say no but his body language has always been yes! Lol…
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they didn't put subtitles during LinHeart's dialogue. This was a very wise choice so we…
I agree and I love how Wen helped guide him through the process of dealing with his issues surrounding Beam. Wen is so patient and sensitive to the feelings of others.
This is out of nowhere but those who watched the kdrama move to heaven have seen the scene from the gay couple,…
Interesting connection. That was a very heartfelt moment in Move To Heaven. It was like a tribute to their love. I don’t get the same feeling with Alan. I just see it as another indication of his inability to let go. Thanks for bringing up MTH. I love that Kdrama.
Can’t wait until next week. I just want Jim/Wen together at the end…this is Li Ming/Heart first crush/love so whatever happens with them is fine with me….they both have dreams that need to be explored….as for Gaipa and Alan…this is life…you win some, you lose some…life goes on…they will survive…on that note Alan was a real ass for denying Jim’s loan only because he couldn’t separate his business from his personal life. If he really loved Wen he would have wanted him to be happy. Granting the loan would have been the ultimate sacrifice. Gaipa handled his rejection the right way. He was obviously hurt but still wanted to help Jim. He is actually too good for Alan. Kudos to Heart’s mother for letting he and Li be friends but I don’t think she’s ready for the gay revelation…that might really send her to the hospital.
