This is a mother from hell. This is more like a lakorn. I really don’t understand why so much time is being spent on these toxic characters. Looks like Uea just can’t catch a break. And what’s with King’s mom. I have three children. They would have all told me to go to hell long time ago.
Call it what you want but this is not a bl…and this may bother some people but I guess the new flavor of the month is polyamory….however, there’s nothing new here to see…men have had two, sometimes three women at a time….the twist here is it involves two gay men, one who is bisexual and the wife who is in need of sexual fulfillment…,it’s obvious where this is headed. Gaga had a much better series similar to this but it was presented much differently and in my opinion was more enlightening and entertaining. The bisexual boyfriend fell for the wife and she got pregnant. They told the husband who at first was upset but after all three started exploring their options they decided they were more happier together than apart. The husband was never going to fulfill the wife’s needs, the boyfriend was happy with both and the wife loved her husband and the baby put an end to the husband’s family constantly pressuring them for a grandchild. They all skipped off happily together. I don’t quite feel the same vibe with this series. Obviously it has an audience. However, when I checked my list of 45 new BLs coming out between Jan and April of 2023 this one was not on the list.

You are right on several points. How a relationship starts is a big factor in how it will end up. On the surface it may seem as if it is an ideal arrangement and everyone is happy but I’ve listened to people involved in actual poly relationships and it’s not a piece of cake. And I know someone who thought love was enough and sexual intimacy was negotiable. In the end she still loved her gay husband but they divorced. Love was not enough. I’m going to pass on this and just go back to Love In The Air and Moonlight Chucken.
I gave this a try because I really enjoyed the two male actors in their other recent series…but this is a bit too much for me….I just can’t pinpoint why it just seems so cringey…it’s just not entertaining….it starts out ok…the best friend makes it no secret that she wants her…the best friend suspects something is up with him before she even marries him( that part is really realistic…I think everyone knew my cousin’s husband was gay even before they got married) she marries him anyway but five years and no sex…it’s just downhill from there…I couldn’t tell if this was supposed to be a comedy or a drama…I’ll probably wait until all episodes are done and look at the finale when all three are together in poly heaven…and that will be ok if that’s what they all want…but if one of them is just settling that would just suck in my book!
I’m in love with both couples. So glad to see Won Tae Min again. I first saw him in You Make Me Dance. I know drama is coming when it is revealed that Won came to get information on Tae but by the end I hope we get a happy ending for all three couples.
As much as I hate these types of plots, I kinda like how the ex is introduced in the first ep and not in later…
Lol…I was thinking the same thing. I just hope we don’t have 10 episodes of having to watch her sorry butt. I’ll probably hit mute every time she opens her mouth. Someone out and out says they have no feelings for you move on and get a life! But it is a true depiction of how some people react. I just hope my baby doesn’t get hurt too bad.
I’m willing to give this a chance. I generally do not like BLs where there is a female ex girlfriend that just can’t face reality. However, I am getting good vibes from the two male leads and the rest of the cast is entertaining. I just hate clingy females and the use of a female as the interloper. That said the chemistry between the two mls is so good I can’t wait until episode three.
This is a winner for me. Sometimes I just want to watch a simply delightful story about finding love. For me this is one of those. It will definitely go on my watch list. I loved the inclusion of the heterosexual couple and the way it ended with the part timer was the icing on the cake.
Oh wow I didn’t see this coming. Episode 4 was very personal to me. My husband and I adopted two children. After 15 years of marriage I became pregnant. Our oldest son was 9. Our daughter was 2. Our miracle baby was a boy. From the very beginning we included our two older children in every step of the journey. Thank Goodness we didn’t have an aunt like Tae. The three are adults now with children of their own. Once someone asked our youngest son if he was treated differently. He just laughed and asked why would he be? My daughter returned to live with us a few years ago. After her father died she stayed with me. I don’t know what I would do without her. I love all three so much. This series has exceeded my expectations. I like BLs like this and give us real life experiences even if it shows painful experiences.
Perhaps I’m in the minority but I just keep going back to this series. I kid you not. I currently have a list of 40 BLs, half of which have already come out this year and Moonlight Chicken is my personal favorite. I thought the entire cast was awesome. Yes, it was all over the place and some interactions may have caused people to scratch their heads in wonder. But maybe that’s why I love it…because that’s how real life is( at least mine) It doesn’t always make sense but somehow the pieces of the puzzle all begin to fall in place…like the priest said…there are two sides to every coin…the happy and the sad.

That student turned on him and each day he was ridiculed. Even some of the teachers offered no comfort. When he told me he was transferring schools I wished him well and I told him to be careful and to wait awhile before he shared certain things. He seemed relieved .

I do understand. Even though I live in the USA where we profess to be so open minded that is not the case for so many. When my cousin caught his teenage son in a dress he beat him and ran him out the house. He used to visit our church but after what his father did I haven’t seen him. The last time I asked about him even his grandmother said she didn’t know where he was. Now it’s amazing to me that when my father found out his nephew was gay he took a totally different approach. He told him he still loved him and when my father hosted a birthday party for my grandfather he welcomed he and his mom into our home. I was sixteen and I remember our going shopping to find my mom a dress. The best word to describe him would be flamboyant. We had a ball. I know that’s why I have the mindset that I do. To me my dad demonstrated what being a true Christian is.

Wow! Thank you. I did meet a couple from India on a cruise. They said their marriage was an arranged one but each one had been given the option to decline. Fortunately their marriage worked out. I also remember attending school with a girl whose parents were from Israel. She said it was required that she marry within her clan. Her sister was rebellious. She was not. I’m sure she did what her parents told her. I just can’t imagine having to work hard and then having my parents demand money from me. I loved my parents and when they asked me to sign for a house for them I had no problem because they said they would handle all the financial requirements which they did. I have three adult children . If I needed help they would give it but I am glad I am able to care for myself. It just hurts me to see the physical and emotional damage that Uea has been subjected to.
I’m just curious. Is it customary in Thai culture to support your parents financially? All I want at this point is for Uea to tell his mother to go to hell, change his number and never send her another dime. If that means not seeing his sister ever again, so be it. Seems like King also has mommy issues. I thought arranged dates was also a thing of the past. Please enlighten me. I do hope Uea and King eventually find happiness together.
