Classis storyline brothers fall for the same girl. The writing well there is a lot to be desired. Huge plot holes,…
This is so far from reality especially with Korn and Rung….did the people making this even do any research at all…I worked in a high school with gang members. I remember one female student who was like Rung. She kept asking a male student a lot of questions. He purposely ignored her. Finally he had enough. He plain out told her if I answer your questions I will have to kill you. He then raised his hand and politely asked me to move his seat. I did and I told her I hope she got the message. She didn’t. Two weeks later she was in the hospital with a brain concussion and he was in jail. Rung’s character is a joke. I liked the female character in Romantic Blue much better which also involved two brothers in love with the same girl.
I am just loving this. The mls obviously are attracted to each other but for their own personal reasons feel compelled to suppress their feelings which is really understandable if you’ve ever worked in a corporate environment. Those workers are so representative of the reality of this world. It was like this and worst years ago. I’m hoping for a much better outcome in 2023.
After watching halfway through ep 3 I decided to drop this, I can’t stand rung and and Korn father, every time…
Me too…it’s not the actors fault…. When will writers and producers realize there is an audience for more creativity and plot development instead of the old formula storylines which seem so trite and lack real substance.
This is just what I hoped would not happen…here we go with the female character coming in between two brothers. I should have known when she was listed as a main character. I barely made it through the episode without throwing up. I don’t like where the Korn and Rung characters are going. Don’t get me wrong. The actors are doing a good job. I just don’t like these kind of storylines. For me nobody should come inbetween family. I’ve been there. When I was 18 my cousin’s husband professed he was in love with me. She was like a big sister to me. We all lived together. I shut him down and made sure we were never alone. He later left her for someone else. I was there for her when she needed me the most. She was my maid of honor when I married. He is dead now. She remarried and has had a good life. We are both seniors now. We are still as close as ever. I have never regretted my decision. She never knew what her then husband said to me over the phone. She never will. I love her and her children too much. So while I will always support Ohm and Perth this just may not be my cup of tea. I won’t change my rating because I think the entire cast is doing an awesome job. I’ll probably come to this site to keep up with the latest.
I guess this will be an unpopular opinion, but I don't like Rung at all. She is a spoiled brat who is used to…
Lol..I feel the same way. She’s starting to get on my last nerve. She has such a sense of entitlement and her parents are too indulgent. My biggest fault with gmmtv is how they sometimes portray female characters.
If girl is reason of their conflict watch me dropping this series . I don't like such lame excuse of ruining such…
I was thinking the same thing…has that 10 Year Ticket vibe which I ended up dropping. When Rung was going on about how did things get so out of hand I couldn’t help but scream because of your nosey butt!!! I am loving Perth and having been rooting for him since LBC. He made appearances in The Eclipse and had a supporting role in Never Let Me Go which I enjoyed. I’m keeping my fingers crossed because I hate the girlfriend trope too.
I absolutely want to kick Korn’s father in the butt and shoot him myself. What a lousy excuse for a father. The mother should have taken her children and kicked his sorry behind to the curb. This series is really turning out to be a real winner.
I just started watching and I am loving it. The entire cast is good but Perth and Ohm have amazing chemistry. I am so glad to see both in non bl roles. They are both talented actors. I know we are in for a roller coaster ride and I’m here for the ride.
I just love how King’s family responded, including his brother. This is the world we imagine and hope for. Even the attitude of the sales person was so positive and affirming. There has been so much sadness in the real world this week. I needed this . Whether you liked it or not I wish you all peace, joy and happiness.
Looking at clips of the star Moonbin makes this series all the more relevant and timely. Such a beautiful and talented artist. I live in a country which prides itself on being at the forefront of healthcare. Yet mental illness is still so stigmatized. You will answer a myriad of questions concerning your health until the issue of your mental health comes up. You put on a fake smile and pretend all is well mentally when you are literally about to explode. I am convinced that a lot of them did not want to die. They just wanted the pain to stop. Thank God my husband’s attempt failed. I got to him in time. No one would have even imagined him doing this. Not him, the pillar of strength, everyone’s hero, the life of the party. I learned not to assume and to look beyond the surface. The stigma and shame has to be eradicated and that can only be done through open discussions and series like Eighth Sense. It’s Okay to Not Be Okay is not a bl but deals with the issue of mental illness in an amazing way. I apologize for my ranting on and on. At this point while I want Jae Won and Ji Hyun to end up together it is more important for Jae Won to get away from his toxic friends, especially the exgf.
Today was so good I had to look at each episode twice. Love how Miss Freshman stood up to Needy Senior… loved how Tae Hyung reacted to Ji Hyun liking Jae Won…loved how Ji Hyun took on the wicked witch…loved how Ji Hyun went to bat for Jae Won… love how Jae Won is being depicted. Those who suffer from such trauma do not get over it as easily as some would like…some never recover….many do commit suicide. He looks and acts like a zombie for a reason. Hopefully in ep 9 he will finally release the pain that is bottled up inside. I hope Ji Hyun will be the one at his side in the end. Unfortunately I am going on a retreat next week. I may have to slip into the bathroom to see the last two episodes. Lol.
I had to go back to the beginning…this is so much more than two guys having hot sex. It is more about the trauma and ramifications of being physically assaulted and mentally abused. Uea deserves a happy ending. I hope King and his family can provide the love and support he deserves.
