I agree. So many times it just seems like someone ran out of gas at the end and couldn’t decide what direction to take so they just threw something at the wall and hoped it would stick. Not in this case. All issues were resolved for all three couples and he and his cousin reconciled .
This was a good series. The second half felt much stronger than the first, so I would advise those who may struggle…
Yes I agreed. The doctor was determined to live a long healthy life and it looks like he did. The only thing that mattered was that they had each other. What more can you ask for than a person be with you until the end. The soul reaper fulfilled his promise. This was about true love and the ultimate sacrifice. Seeing his reincarnated smile and the that of the soul reaper was enough for me. This couple has so much chemistry. The first time I saw them was in Grey Rainbow. I hope they have another project together.
Beautiful ending. Their love transcended heaven and earth. They were together until the end and will be again. My soulmate passed away four years ago but he has never left me. I so can relate….and one day they will be reunited together again.
I understand people naturally like to make comparisons but I find it easier to try not to do that and base my final evaluation on my own set of criteria. That said I have enjoyed Dear Doctor. I first saw our mls in Grey Rainbow and I was happy to see them again. They did not disappoint me. I am also watching Triage and KinnPorsche. They are as different as night and day but both will go on my rewatch list as will Dear Doctor. In different ways I found all three entertaining.

Actually there are so many out there and more scheduled. Earlier this year Bad Buddy was all the rage…then Not Me took center stage. Now it’s KinnPorsche. After July another one will take center stage but I think at this point KinnPorsche is in the bag for some major awards next year. Behind KP my favorites so far this year have been: Cupid’s Last Wish Triage Cherry Blossom After Winter Semantic Error Not Me and Dear Doctor I’m Coming After Soul.
At this point I just want our three couples still alive at the end….KinnPorsche racing to get to one another, Vegas in a coma with Pete by his side, Chay on a plane headed abroad and Kim licking his wounds. All giving us hope for a season 2. Just don’t kill any of our heartthrobs off.
They need to let Barcode live his life making his own choices just like they do theirs.
Yes, don’t people realize this is a business too. There are sponsors and future endorsements involved. Contracts have been signed. There are people on the set whose only job is to be sure the guidelines pertaining to the ratings are being followed. Also, Jeff Satur has been in this business long enough to understand the pitfalls. Just from watching his interactions with Barcode I see him as an astute mentor. In fact the way they all act around Barcode is commendable. I wonder if people really understand that the things they say and do can affect a young person’s mental health. App went through some stuff and had to take a break. That’s why I am trusting the team. I don’t believe they are going to throw in a scene just to satisfy someone’s sexual fantasy. Please forgive me for rambling on. My late husband used to have a saying he would say when people just made irresponsible comments. He would say they were stuck on stupid and hanging on dumb.
