I really need help!! I want to love this series because the ml's had so much chemistry but wtf is going on???…
I agree. The ex gf is the most insulting character. As a female I find her a total embarrassment. This is the 21st century and the writers are still writing female characters from before the Women’s Rights Movement. I know every culture is different but I just can’t see the entertainment value.
Why do writers still think putting a female character in a bl who is from a rich family but obviously has low self esteem and will resort to any means possible to get the male lead. It’s really very demeaning to females. And I really don’t think it adds to the storyline at all. Likewise whats up with the other doctor? Another toxic character thrown in the mix for no logical reason. I like the male leads and the coworkers are all supportive and cute but throwing daddy’s girl into the mix shows a lack of creativity. The writers need to do more research. There are some really good BLs who know how to include a female character in the storyline without it being an insult to women as well as the LGTB community in general. History 3 Make Our Days Count and His are two examples.
What was ep 4 all about? They are even messing up the storyline with Seo Bao….is the ghost in his body now and going after the doctor’s stepmom????Also, more SongWon flashbacks …urgggg! Well, at least the actors have been paid and have moved on from this hodgepodge. Time for me to drop this. I’ll wait until it’s over before deciding to watch it entirely.
Father in Heaven how many days is this funeral going to take? How many people do you need to watch a body burn.? I t didn’t take all that when they cremated my uncle. Please don’t let people have to endure 12 episodes of mourning .,Let’s burn this body and move on. I guess the last four episodes will deal what to do with her ashes…..uggggggg
Well I got my happy ending. It was messy but sometimes that’s how it goes. Logic and love do not always follow the same path. Not gave it his all but it was just not meant to be. The girlfriend knew she was just filling in. That’s a part of life too. Every one was not forgiven which I was happy to see. I liked the actors and the various settings. The music was nice too. Now it’s on to You’re My Sky, Not Me and The Tuxedo.
Right now I’m looking at this as a comedy. I really can’t take any of this too seriously. I have to admit I can actually handle the three replacement actors. They are not nearly as sleezy as the three actors they replaced. How many days is this funeral going to last. Every time I see Song Won’s picture I feel like throwing up. I’m glad they are giving more time to the wives but Hye’s flirting and fawning over Seo Ban is downright embarrassing. Of course Ami is still dumb as a rock and Gabin thinks she’s landed the golden goose. Really I just fast forward past the mistresses. Oh yes, the baby is so cute. I hope Seo Bao is really sincere because Lee Shi deserves a break. Hopefully she will listen to her daughter.
I broke down and watched episode 8. Actually this is the best you can hope for from China. This is a watered down version of Addicted which is why I was surprised they even included the rape scene in this version. What I did like was the ending. Yes they are physically apart but they declare their love for each other which gives some hope that they may come together in the future. There actually was a sequel to Addicted in which they meet in later years and rekindle their love. The trailer looked promising but I understand the sequel was never released. Also, in Addicted it ended with an intrusive female suggesting there was still a question about their sexuality. It seems like the Chinese can’t accept that a person is truly gay. It’s more like a bromance or a temporary condition. At least this series eliminates the female and just has the two talking lovingly to each other at the end. As I said earlier this is as good as it will get in a Chinese bl. If you know of one other than this one and Addicted please let me know.
Don’t you hate it when writers suddenly decide they want to get all high and mighty and go rogue on us. Just when we’ve settled in for a nice enemy to lovers romance someone decided they want to be Shakespeare and write a love tragedy instead of a love story. By now someone should have figured out that messy breakups and random heartache is not what a lot of us want in a bl. Personally, I want to feel all fuzzy wuzzy and happy at the end. I get enough sadness in real time. BLs are my form of escapism. Sorry the writers didn’t get my last memo. I’ve got my fingers crossed for My Ride , Not Me and Semantic Error.
I just can’t say enough about this bl. The way they look at each other. The way they just can’t seem to stay away from each other. This could be any couple falling in love for the first time. And the music is perfect.
Of the mistresses to was the one, if I had to, I liked her the most. It was incredible sad, I do believe they…
Sorry but I just never can warm up to Songwon. The only way I could do that would be if she had some sort of mental deficiency that reduced her to having the mind of an adolescent. But if she is the mature, intelligent , educated woman that she is portrayed as being than from the moment she agreed to have breakfast with a married man and go on secret dates makes her a willing participant in this game of deceit. She played on the vulnerability of a manchild who was needy and weak. Falling in love is no justification for infidelity . They were two consensual adults. I respect the love some have for Songwon but to me she was the worse. Ami is just naive and dumb as a rock. The singer was just took what came her way at the time. Don’t hate me. I’ve known some Songwon in my life and they tried to sell me the same bill of goods. Sorry but I wasn’t buying and had no problem letting them know I wasn’t in agreement with their decision.
