Lol…I stopped watching this until they got rid of that god awful Maria. I had started enjoying but now the lawyer’s mother is getting to be too much and the sisters obsession with money and material possessions is turning me off. They just seem so immature and out of touch with what’s really important in life. Are they ever content?
violence is never the solution but i understand LKS, LKT and her husband were rude she always do what she wants…
It seems that sibling hierarchy thing is unique to certain cultures. I also felt as the wife it was her duty to check on her husband. Early in my marriage my brother did something which I felt was taking advantage of my husband. I took him aside and told him not to ever try that again. He never did. I set the tone. Mess with my husband you will have to deal with me. Certain relatives who were like the youngest daughter learned to shut their mouths.
What y’all think regarding the fight between LKS and LKT. Did she deserve to be slapped or was LKS the one who…
I think LKT should have been put in her place long before this. But I really blame the father. Too much emphasis has been placed on money and prestige. When your worth is only validated by the car you drive or how big your house is that will eventually lead to problems. LKT is the type of person who wins a million dollar lottery and is broke within a year. The sister should not have hit her but she had reached her breaking point. I have relatives like LKT. They love to talk about their 401ks and the new Mercedes Benz they just bought, etc. etc. I’ve learned how to change the subject or leave the room. Life is too short to worry about superficial mess. Hopefully by the end each sister will have learned that happiness does not come from material possessions but from the love shared together. I see the middle sister putting too much pressure on her husband to become a famous singer. That’s sad because he is really a decent guy who has already sacrificed a lot for her.
Episode 14 was just so sweet. The subtlety, the awkwardness of new feelings and emotions is just so characteristic of that first love. I really don’t care who ends up with whom. I just want them to all end up as friends and with a newfound understanding of who they are as individuals.
I just finished watching and I loved it. It was just a nice entertaining bl. No rape scenes, no fickle females, no homophobic references but also no over the top girly boys. I enjoyed the main couple and the secondary couple too. Of course they were all handsome. There was the expected obstacle created by the father but everything was resolved nicely at the end. It was short and sweet.
Let’s remember someone signed off on this mess. It’s obvious that Netflix and the sponsors know what sells. There are so many well written and great series who warranted a second or third season and never got it. Why? Because it’s all about the money. People hate this show but still watch it! And that is proving to be the winning card. They don’t care who sleeps with who or who gets their just due. It doesn’t have to have a moral. It doesn’t need to make sense. Substance is out. Smut sells. They love the attention and all the controversy. It means more money, more money, more money for Netflix and the producers.
LOVED this season and I'm definitely going to watch S3!!
There we have it. They will milk this cow for all it’s worth as long as there is an audience. I didn’t watch all of Season 1…I dropped Season 2 after episode 4. I am just not a glutton for punishment. I learn all I need to know from the wonderful spoilers on this site. Season 3 I won’t even bother to look.
I read those comments and they are a hoot. Who would have thought a fictional series could piss off so many people.…
That strategy has kept USA soap operas going for 30 years and more. Who cared if the female lead has been married eight times and has had 16 lovers. Who cares if the son you thought was yours is really your best friend’s son and your new wife is having an affair with your baby momma. Yes we eat this kind of trash up in the USA. Lol
Word is you’re a good actress. As an international viewer I was very disappointed in the role you played in this series. I literally would fast forward every time you appeared. I understand it’s just a role but characters reflect aspects of society and do have an impact. With your popularity it just seems that you could afford to be more selective In the roles you play or at least voice your objection when the project seems to be going off the deep end.
more dramas.
