I dont consider the ending as a happy ending, I say, they will just get back together again and then break up…
I hope not. I would not look at a season 3. In long term relationships you have ebbs and tides. The problems are not
always connected to infidelity. I stopped trying to guess whose
relationship would or would not last. I have been blindsided too many times. Couples who I thought wouldn’t
last a year are going strong after
25 or more.

I know some people didn't want them to get back together, and I didn't believe one episode could get them back…
True...that’s why I love A Thousand Stars too.

They made me believe they should be back together again, and that's saying something.I cried for Bas though.
I’m not worried about Bas. He will be ok. I do look forward to seeing the actor playing Bas in future projects. I think he was only 17 when he made ITSAY.

That’s good Bilkin is gonna take some time to focus on his music career, like P’Mew also. No need to jump…
I agree. I love these four artists. I
would support any project they do
whether together or alone,

So did the series “promised you the moon and delivered?” I didn’t like ITSAY and couldn’t watch IPYTM…
Liked both. Would rewatch.

I know a lot of ppl are upset with this series but I loved it. It's realistic until the wedding part. In real…
I loved the ending. That was very realistic to me. I had some concerns with ep 3 but overall it delivered. It will go on my rewatch list. I’ve already rewatched the finale.

Now please give me a movie about their wedding.. I beg
Yes to a movie showing their wedding but not another series.

In ep 5 i honestly didnt want them to get back together. I think it would have been very refreshing to have seen…
I respectfully disagree. I know for a fact that you can overcome any
problems you
will encounter and there are a myriad of problems that you will face but if your love is true and you have the
strength together
you can come out
stronger and even
more in love. I know couples who faced more tests than Teh and Awe
and beat all the odds and are still
together today. For better or worst, for richer or
poorer .....it is possible. Kudos to
the writers and
directors for
getting it right.

As I predicted before this season even aired the best viewing for this show is through binge watching. It's not…
I agree. I really think binge watching is better.
Waiting week to week is tedious and I start overthinking every
scene.

Title I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
This is the ending I wanted and got....and this is what the reality is...despite any flaws or missteps they never stopped loving one another....they had a choice to make and they chose what was best for them. I’ve said in previous posts that my soulmate and I were together for 50 years....until we were separated by death.... but
during those years we had
some low points....thank God for good friends and
loving families...our love was tested but it was true
and we always said we were two imperfect people
perfectly fit for each other.
With each episode I kept
asking where are their families, where are their old friends. Yes you leave home and make new friends but you don’t forget the ones who were with you at the start. So glad the writers got that last episode right. Now I can go back and rewatch the series. Please don’t hate me. I’m just telling you about my personal
reality and how it related to Teh and Aew. Live well
and take care.

What a beautiful final kiss and back together. That speech was wonderful from Teh to Oh-Aew. Also foreshadowing…
I can’t wait to see. So happy.

Wow...what an astute, insightful
analysis. Thank you for saying what I’ve been thinking all day and what I’ve tried to convey in past posts. Bravo.

itS realist till people are so unhappy for Oh. But what does Oh want? Have we as audience or friends asked him…
I agree. I have a cousin who I love dearly. Her husband can be a real jackass. They’ve been together over 25 years. Everyone tells her she should leave him. She may leave for a few days but she always goes back. I
support her decision. I love her and I don’t hate him. In fact I want them both to be happy. Just like I want Teh and Aew to be happy.

I just have such a bad sad feeling. I have to go back to ITSAY to feel hopeful and optimistic. I am really not looking
forward to ep 5. If it follows the tone of the first four ep
it will probably end with them wishing
each other well and having one final hug. That will be our happy ending. That’s life. That will be the final message.

So the writers were like " we need to do something no one is expecting! Oh let's ruin the whole thing and the…
This is why sequels generally fall short. By trying to
top what they did in the first season they decide to go
all the way left and
the end product is a jumbled mess. I really think a lot of it has to do with not really knowing
your audience. As
humans we are very peculiar. For one thing most of us do not deal with
change well. So when you have spent millions of dollars to create a
certain persona and a certain image it is a big risk to think that you can now flip the switch and everybody will applaud your ingenuity. Sorry, but that’s not how most people are wired. I was thinking about a very popular store I frequented years ago. I hadn’t shopped there in awhile and I decided to stop in.
Every thing had changed. The decor, the fashion
designs. Nothing was the same. And from the comments I heard it was struggling to get the ship right size up again. Curious I approached a manager and asked what happened. She was
very honest. She said the decision
makers at the top
decided to go in a
new direction. They wanted to project a different
more contemporary look. In the process they forgot to protect
the brand that had
bought them so much success. They didn’t consider their base
which was the core of their success. Now they were scrambling to
get back on track but they were too late. So many had
already abandoned ship. I hope this has been
a lesson for Nadaeo and all those involved in this project. Know your base. Know just how much they have become
emotionally invested in your
product(the characters) know how to proactively
prepare them for what’s coming. My heart goes out to
Billkin, PP, Oab and the rest of the
cast members. They did their jobs,
maybe too well. You created this
ball of fire. Now you have to clean it up.
