Wow I was feeling so good until that cliffhanger......how do you keep something this big from your partner? No mention of a second season....this is what I hate most about kdramas....they have a problem with endings
I just can’t get enough of Vincenzo. The scene with him kneeling by his mother’s bedside is so emotional. Anyone who feels sorry for how the devil lawyer and the psycho die should revisit this episode. They got exactly what they deserved...
Actually I’m going to wait until all five episodes are over and read the spoilers. If it’s a happy ending I’ll watch. If it’s not I’m not sure if I’ll watch. I just can’t take another death or breakup .
I am rewatching Vincenzo and it only reenforces my initial impression. It is soooo good. To see the transformation in the characters and how their true natures are revealed is in itself a work of art. As the veils are pulled back we become fighters for justice . We weep for the innocent lives lost and we cheer when punishment is painfully doused out. This is definitely one of the best series of 2021. Kudos to all the actors and production crew.
My theory is that kwang nam will end up pregnant after their little night today, the mother in law will try to…
Wishful thinking. However I don’t see the writer moving in that direction. The writer seems to have a fascination with toxic relationships, whining weak males and thirsty desperate women.
About epiode 18, did Maria try rape him again by having sex with him while he was drunk? You know, the same way…
This is just why I stopped watching this series. The storyline with Maria and the MIL just turns my stomach. I have two sons and I could never think of subjecting them to this poor excuse of a woman
Ok so since everyone keeps saying this is a tear jerker just wanted to ask if it’s depressing ? Or is it heart…
No it is not depressing. In fact there are some scenes that will make you smile but it will stir your heart and cause you to reflect on life . I think of this series as being inspirational.
I always had this thought, who would look after the things I leave behind? After reading the drama synapse, I thought…
Isn’t it wonderful how this drama actually moves us to start rethinking our own memories of loved ones who have passed on. My father passed in 1983. I still have the first book I remember him giving me. I was six years old. That book is 67 years old and is one of my prized possessions. It has withstood many moves . I have shared it with my children and grandchildren. I envision them putting it in a box one day with my name on it. Take care.
i have one question: does Geu Roo know that he's adopted? I didn't really understand the scene in ep 9 where they…
I think this is why we need season 2. As for why he doesn’t look for his parents there can be any number of reasons but I’ll go with this one...he already has had two wonderful parents who loved and cared for him from infancy. This may be hard for some to understand but being a parent is more than a sperm and an egg. He may look for his biological parents in the future but his real parents will always be the ones who raised him. His uncle may not be his uncle by blood but the connection they have formed could not be any stronger. That’s another thing I love about this series. In so many ways it shows that love should transcend biology, gender, age, social status, physical and/or mental challenges. This is not only an indictment on how we treat the dead but also how we treat the living.
Such a touching and moving look at how we treat death...a true work of art What some view as trash is a treasure to others. I am literally in tears. I laid my soulmate of 50 years to rest 4/29/2018. Three days later I was summoned to the hospital and watched my dearest cousin pass away. They are buried together in the same military cemetery. One day the three of us will be reunited. This series reminds me that death is not always the end. Thank you for your comments. Live well.
Beautiful...provides perspective on how our life is impacted by our decisions and the hurdles we face trying to live our true selves. The two main leads were awesome.
