What can I say but kudos to Ep 5. I loved it. They had the whole 90s era down completely. From start to finish it was entertaining and a joy to watch as their friendship evolved. The chemistry between the two main characters is so natural. Loved the ending. Heartwarming and just right for first face to face meeting. This is the only one so far where I want to see more. Of course my own favorite couple is Ohm and Fluke but I don’t really enjoy makeup breakup storylines.
I know many questioned how could Damian keep the fact that he had a kid away from his partner for six years. That was my initial response too. Then I remembered. My uncle hid the fact that he had TWO other children beside the three he had with his wife for over 20 years. I couldn’t believe it. He was my dad’s younger brother. We were close. Our families were always together. Hindsight I now believe my father had to know. They shared everything with one another. Just like Damian’s sister knew the truth. I never had a chance to ask my father. He had passed away. My uncle’s eldest daughter only found out by accident when my uncle became ill and she met a woman who was visiting him. The woman turned out to be her sister. My uncle passed away shortly after so I was never able to ask him why he hid the truth from us even after he and his wife divorced. I hope we get a season 2 so we see how Jerry and Damian resolve the situation. Hindsight I guess this is not as far fetched as I first thought.
Are you sick? Why are you glamorizing rape and promoting mother domination and male emasculation? That storyline with the wimpy lawyer and pathetic man hungry woman and psycho mother is one reason I dropped this series. That’s terrible because I really was enjoying the other storylines and I admire the lead actor playing the father so much.
wth is happening to the entertainment industry? why are everyone so eager to give us second season for everything?…
I have already rewatched ep 1 because I thought maybe I missed something that would prepare me for ep 6....not a clue as to the bombshell coming...I don’t need to rewatch ep 6...it’s not the keeping secrets thing that bothers me but the messy abrupt way it was disclosed and how it totally veered away from being a family comedy to a family drama
Wow I was feeling so good until that cliffhanger......how do you keep something this big from your partner? No mention of a second season....this is what I hate most about kdramas....they have a problem with endings
I just can’t get enough of Vincenzo. The scene with him kneeling by his mother’s bedside is so emotional. Anyone who feels sorry for how the devil lawyer and the psycho die should revisit this episode. They got exactly what they deserved...
Actually I’m going to wait until all five episodes are over and read the spoilers. If it’s a happy ending I’ll watch. If it’s not I’m not sure if I’ll watch. I just can’t take another death or breakup .
I am rewatching Vincenzo and it only reenforces my initial impression. It is soooo good. To see the transformation in the characters and how their true natures are revealed is in itself a work of art. As the veils are pulled back we become fighters for justice . We weep for the innocent lives lost and we cheer when punishment is painfully doused out. This is definitely one of the best series of 2021. Kudos to all the actors and production crew.
My theory is that kwang nam will end up pregnant after their little night today, the mother in law will try to…
Wishful thinking. However I don’t see the writer moving in that direction. The writer seems to have a fascination with toxic relationships, whining weak males and thirsty desperate women.
About epiode 18, did Maria try rape him again by having sex with him while he was drunk? You know, the same way…
This is just why I stopped watching this series. The storyline with Maria and the MIL just turns my stomach. I have two sons and I could never think of subjecting them to this poor excuse of a woman
down completely. From start to finish
