ITSAY and this together with Life on Line, is going down to be one of the best BL series ever made in past 14…
I agree...all three have set the bar so high. Want to see how to tell a story and do it with realism, compassion and emotion...just look at these three.
Next to the commander and the doctor I loved the characters Zhan and the opera singer. I kept wanting to know more about Zhan and how he became the 2nd uncles prodigy. I kept wanting there to be some way for him to redeem himself. I kept hoping there would be a miracle cure for the opera singer. That last scene with Zhan and the opera singers beads was so revealing. I usually jump for joy when the villain dies but with Zhan I just felt sad . Now that’s what I call good acting. In fact the casting was excellent in my opinion.
I just watched the revised ending. I had made my peace with the original ending but the revised ending will satisfy the majority. I wonder if they will do what they did with Irrisistable Love and give viewers the option of looking at the finale with the original ending or the happy ending. Either way I’m just glad both endings focus on the two of them with no mysterious female making an appearance. I have already started watching this over again.
does this screenwriter want to singlehandedly kill the HIStory series? she's doing a good job of it
I just wonder what’s with the female bl writers. Are they frustrated sexually and so this is why they are hung up on watching two guys having sex. Just asking.
I’m an international fan. The scene in the hotel made me uncomfortable but I just found it amusing that a 20 yr old could so easily get his older brother drunk. And the older brother was answering his questions so I’m like did he actually want to get with his brother but has been surprising his true feelings. I just wish the writers would be more creative. The rape/non consensual scenes seem to be becoming cliche. I will stick with the series but if the franchise wants to widen its audience it needs to get writers who really know how to tell a good story without the voyeurism. I wonder how the actors felt when they read the scene. I’m not against rape scenes but given the initial storyline and tone this seemed like overkill. This has taken a darker tone which I haven’t seen in the other History series and I think I’ve seen them all.
