Can anyone tell the level of bullying? Im really uncomfortable to watch those scenes. If it's childish it's okay…
Not even close to kdrama bullying in my opinion….more ridicule and physical taunting…in a one on one fight my money would be on Marc….and at least the ones being bullied are not afraid to stand up for each other
Over the top dramatics and I am loving it! Love how my boys came to the rescue. They all are just so fine….and even the female characters are entertaining.
I think if they did everything together ( the present and past of kids and adults) without the flashbacks , it…
I agree. So glad the focus was on the kids first. When the story shifted to the parents it gave me a much clearer perspective on why their parents were so adamant and super cautious. It was especially fun watching the parents of Bong Seok. I started watching this strictly because of the actor Zo In Sung. He is amazing. His gestures, his shyness, his sheer directness were all embodied in Bong Seok. I do hope we see the three of them together at some point. This is such a roller coaster of emotions and I am enjoying the ride.
So happy others can already see what a wonderful and talented actor Perth is…and he is only 21!
I agree. LBC was one if my first venture into the bl world. I have rewatched it several times and still get goosebumps. I can also see how much Perth has grown professionally and I am an ardent supporter.
Frankly, if it wasnt for my gmmt bl guys being in this I would not be watching. It is not hard to figure out the pain that is to come and possibly even one will end up dead. It is fun to see our good guys from Moonlight Chicken being dirty and raunchy. Is there any role Khao can’t play? Makes me thrilled to be past this stage of the game. Reminds me too much of my college days. Frat brothers sleeping with other frat brothers girlfriends….sorors pushing up on their sister’s man….physical fights and drunken brawls….heartbreaks and heartaches….wow, this is taking me down memory lane…I should drop it but I just can’t…lol
Agreed, I don't know how they'll redeem him because his actions in this episode honestly make me doubt if I could…
I know you may not agree but I must believe that redemption is possible…Kang is still young. It is no excuse but everything is not always black or white. I have worked with teenage boys who were incorrigible. Some were hard to the core. They would make Kang look like a saint. But when my mother passed away they showed me a side I could never have imagined. They were so compassionate. It was as if the one thing they could relate to was the pain. So when I look at Kang I dont see a monster. I see a young man who is struggling internally and his only means of self preservation is to put on this facade. At this point in his life he still has time. Because this is a bl it is Sailom who will be the catalyst to his redemption. Remember, this is high school. Not much has changed in the last 60 years. It is still a war between the haves and the have nots, the weak and the strong. I watched Kang with his grandmother and there is obviously something going on with he and his father. I just hope Kang’s character is developed in such a way that we can see him cast off the mask and feel free to be himself. Excuse my ranting.
This is so good. I have rewatched it twice already. I only wish they would have given us two episodes a week . The acting from Chimon and Perth seems effortless. No over the top theatrics. I dislike bullying tropes but it is what it is. Having worked in education for many years this is shamelessly realistic. I do love Chimon.’s character and his friends. He is cautious but not intimidated by the bullies. Perth’s character is interesting. He is completely different when with his grandmother. Each of the main characters have other personal issues that they are dealing with. It is going to be a roller coaster ride for sure. I also like the song at the end. This deserves a top rating in my opinion.
I just started this series and I love it! Maybe it is because I can identify with Shim Doek….I have raised my children and made personal sacrifices so they could become who they are today. I took care of my husband until death did us part. Now I am doing me. I have a relative who entered college at 55 and not only earned her bachelors degree but two masters degrees. A friend always wanted to go up in an air balloon. At 80 years old she did just that. I encourage young big to pursue their dream and chart their own course. If they fail at least they have the satisfaction of knowing they gave their all. This is just a realistic and heartwarming depiction of the importance of living life to its fullest.
I guess it should tell me something when I dont even remember Love Class 1. I had to check to see if I actually watched it the first season( apparently I did and even gave it a decent rating….????) I am watching this out of curiosity. None of the characters are resonating with me so far but the class room scene did refresh my memory and in a good way so I will hang in there for now.
I am still hanging in there since its only eight episodes but I am wondering why it seems like the new trope in bls is to throw in a prearranged engagement to a female. Is this some sort of Asian tradition….it really is not amusing or particularily entertaining to me. Just like the old third party exgf suddenly appearing it just seems like a useless filler. I prefer more banter and romance between the leading couple and even a side couple. Seems out of place . entertaining
I am thinking my guys must have had a great time making this series. Nanon is so special! Seeing Krist as a bad guy is a real treat! Of course Off and Mix never disappoint. The female actresses are ok. I have seen them before so I am used to their theatrics, especially PunPun. I am at episode 5 and having a ball so far.
Personally I am loving this….just the eye candy alone is enough for me…all my favorites in the same series….it’s campy, cringy, ratchet and totally ridiculous…cant wait to see what happens next.

tension and passion from both actors has me in it until the end.
